St. Bartholomew's Chapel - Rincon Reservation

Custom-Bilt Metals, a company with a long history of environmental leadership through product innovation, and metal roofing contractor Unique Concepts Inc., announce the completion of a 5.7kw solar system integrated with standing seam metal roofing on the newly rebuilt St. Bartholomew’s Chapel on the Rincon Reservation, Valley Center, CA. The original, historic St. Bartholomew’s Chapel on the Rincon Reservation was burned down as a victim of the huge 2007 Poomacha wildfire.

St. Catherine’s Church

In many of Europe's major cities, it's quite common to find zinc roofs that have been in service for more than 100 years. Famed German architect Karl-Friedrich Schinkel (1781-1841) used zinc extensively for roofing and building ornamentation on several historical buildings and palaces that still stand today.

St. Clair Hospital

When the administrators of St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh planned the expansion of the community hospital’s Emergency Department, they wanted a distinctive look that would stand out from the existing structure and be immediately recognizable within the campus. They achieved those objectives through the use of Citadel's Envelope 2000® Rout and Return (RR) system panels in Classic Copper and Sky Blue colors. Fabrication of the Citadel panels was done by East Coast Metal Systems, Bellaire, OH. Installation was handled by Burns & Scallo Roofing Company, Pittsburgh.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church

Hand-crafted copper elements now adorn St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, Texas. Fabricated by CopperCraft, these custom design elements for a pavilion and sanctuary doors are in keeping with the Mission-style architecture frequently found in Texas.

St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center

The new St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center in Boardman, OH utilizes more than 25,000 sq. ft. of Citadel Envelope 2000® Rain Screen panels as a key design element. The Citadel metal composite material (MCM) panels were finished in Clear Anodized and interface with brick masonry. The $77 million, 7-story acute care facility was designed as a major addition to an existing low-rise diagnostic center. The new health center becomes the cornerstone for future campus expansion. Critical to the design was the continuation of the existing structure’s array of exterior forms and materials.

St. Elizabeth Seton Gymnasium

Morin, a Kingspan Group Company, contributed its single element Standing Seam Series Panels fabricated from Galvalume® to the recently-completed St. Elizabeth Seton Gymnasium in Oakland, CA. The 10,400 square-foot gym doubles as a community room and was designed to complement the aesthetics of the neighboring church sanctuary.

St. George Hangar

Throughout his decades in construction, Jim St. George was known for his ability to solve problems and for the quality of his work. In the door industry, Schweiss Doors has that same reputation, so it's no real surprise that St. George was drawn to Schweiss when looking for doors for his newly renovated/expanded airplane hangar.

St. George's Serbian Orthodox Church

Met-Tile was selected to re-roof the St. George’s Serbian Orthodox Church in Duluth, Minnesota because it looks like clay tile and provided the “Old World” look required by the church, which dates back to the early 1900s. According to the installer, K.F. Loosen Construction Co., panels were applied over the existing asphalt shingle roofing after the structural engineer verified that the roof framing could bear the additional load of the Met-Tile panels, which weigh 125 lb. per square. Met-Tile roofing is a product of McElroy Metal.

St. John Lutheran Church

A new church, designed by Ziegler Cooper Architects, called for an MBCI metal roof system to provide a long-term roofing solution that was nearly maintenance free. As a result, the St. John Lutheran Church in Spring, TX is covered by 10,000 square feet of MBCI’s SuperLok® standing seam roof system. The 24-gauge panels have a Medium Bronze finish.

St. John Paul II Newman Center

Students at the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Pacific campus have the opportunity to live, worship and play together in the new St. John Paul II Newman Center. From the start of the student housing design phase, BVH Architecture, Omaha, wanted to use metal wall panels that would inspire the students to live the journey for which they were called in a building that enlightened their college experience. Dri-Design's VMZINC Series panels were chosen for their appearance, scale and durability.

St. John’s On The Lake Expansion

A 21-story facility is the newest addition to the Saint John’s on the Lake Community. As Milwaukee’s premier retirement community, Saint John’s offers unparalleled views of Lake Michigan and the city skyline. Located directly adjacent to the waterfront, Saint John’s is a close distance to vast array of restaurants, museums, theaters and retail shops. CENTRIA products played important roles in the design of this addition.

St. Joseph Catholic Church

The new St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gluckstadt, MS, has all the functional elements of a modern church, but within a building designed to reflect the parish's rural roots. Among the design features reflecting an earlier time are board and batten siding and an Englert standing seam metal roof.

St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital Renovation

As part of the 44-year-old St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital $15 million renovation completed in 2015, CENTRIA Formawall® Dimension Series® insulated metal panels, Formavue™ (FV 400) Window System and C/S Louvers add both beauty and protection from the elements. The project’s end goal was to ensure sustainability and infuse modern architectural design into this Savannah, GA icon.

St. Louis Science Center Addition

The recently completed major addition to the St. Louis Science Center utilizes approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of Citadel Envelope 2000® Rout & Return (RR) System metal composite material (MCM) panels. The panels were finished in Shasta White and Silver Gray.

St. Luke's Health And Wellness Center

Canco General Contractors Inc. of Plant City, FL used Continuous Beam and custom steel framing by Varco Pruden Buildings to create the St. Luke's Health And Wellness Center in Lakeland, FL. The 15,200 sq. ft. healthcare facility was designed by Johnson, Cartwright & Jarman Architects of Tampa, FL.

St. Mary’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center

They call it The Century Project. It didn’t take 100 years to complete but the expansion and renovation of the St. Mary’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center in Grand Junction, CO, has nonetheless been many years in the making. It began with the construction of a new 12-story, 44,000 sq. ft. patient tower and culminated with the renovation and reconfiguration of 76,000 sq. ft. of existing hospital space. Helping to give those old sections a modern look were aluminum composite panel systems from Citadel Architectural Products.

St. Patrick Church - Galveston, TX

For building owners in the island city of Galveston, Texas, good design isn’t only about aesthetics – it’s also about survivability. Their city was nearly wiped off the map in the devastating Hurricane of 1900, so every renovation decision comes down to a balance of beauty and resilience. The new Petersen metal roof installed on the city’s historic St. Patrick church meets both criteria, helping to secure the structure’s landmark status for decades to come.

St. Pius Church

When Louisiana and Cajun styles marry and the talents of an architect and construction team seamlessly merge, the result is the impressive St. Pius Church in Lafayette, La. This structure, the first new church in Lafayette in 22 years, replaces a smaller space where many people stood during masses. Flex-Ability Concepts’ Flex-C Arch and Flex-C Trac were used to create some of the curves throughout the church.

St. Stanislaus Catholic Church

Located on a 30-acre site, the new St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Modesto, CA merges traditional forms with a contemporary worship environment. The 26,250 sq. ft. church offers seating for 1,300 parishioners. Both Flex-C Trac and Flex-C Arch from Flex-Ability Concepts were used to create arches and repetitive curved forms in the ceiling and structure.

St. Thomas Medical Office Building

A state of the art medical facility required an appearance to match, blending bricks and glass, as well as composite panels from Citadel Architectural Products.
