Reliance Church

It might be a stretch to say that divine intervention played a part in the connection between long-time Star Building Systems builder G&W Builders and Reliance Church in Temecula, CA., but it certainly worked out to be a successful outcome for them both when Reliance Church was looking for the perfect team to build their new church amid the lush landscape and mountainous terrain of their hometown.

Renaissance Hotel At Patriot Place

The luxurious new Renaissance Hotel at Patriot Place anchors 1.3 million sq. ft. of shopping, entertainment and commercial space located adjacent to Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, in Foxborough, MA. The five-story, four-star hotel and spa offers a distinctive personality and dramatic views of the stadium. Approximately 20,000 sq. ft. of Metl-Span CFA Architectural insulated wall panels finished in Cool Metallic Silver were utilized on the hotel's exterior. The 2 ½” thick panels were installed horizontally.

Rennen & Beecher Flats

Rennen & Beecher Flats, incorporating a total of 18 condos and three ground-level retail spaces, is one of the latest in a long list of projects completed by the local nonprofit Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation in the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. Metal wall panels from Petersen add a contemporary feel to the mixed-use project.

Reserve At Park Ten Office Building

The Reserve at Park Ten is a master-planned office complex located in the West Houston Energy Corridor (Houston, Texas). Arcon Architects of League City, TX, designed the project’s initial structure—a six-story, 150,000 sq. ft. Class A office building with a parking garage—using a palette of low-maintenance, regionally produced, sustainable products, including metal wall panels from Berridge Manufacturing Co. of San Antonio, TX.

Reservoir Woods

Cambridge Architectural, Cambridge, MD, employed its unique design-build approach to outfit the exterior of a newly constructed Massachusetts parking garage in glistening woven metal fabric. The structure is at Reservoir Woods, a 120-acre, $16 million office complex in Waltham, MA. Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, Inc. of Boston, MA, designed the garage, which uses a combination of Cambridge's Scale and Mid-balance products. They were attached using the company's Eclipse tension attachment hardware.

Residence In Portland, ME

Though more commonly featured in roofing applications, stamped metal shingles by Paradigm Shingles of Milton, VT, are also perfectly appropriate for use as a wall cladding. Evidence of that can be seen in Portland, ME, where they were recently specified by Richard Renner Architects for the exterior of a newly constructed 1,300 sq. ft. home. Christopher Gormely Inc. of North Yarmouth, ME, was the general contractor for the project, which was built with environmental responsibility and energy efficiency in mind.

Residence In The Woods

The Residence In the Woods is a uniquely-formed structure that responds literally to significant site challenges. Designed by its architect owner and wedged between zoning setbacks, a stream buffer and a steep slope, the residence was squeezed vertically into a three-story massing. Each floor is clad in a different material, with the lower level featuring 1/2" sinusoidal panels fabricated from 0.8mm RHEINZINK material in a Preweathered Graphite Gray finish. The panels were applied as a ventilated rainscreen.

Residence Inn Marriott - Portland

AEP Span’s Prestige Series® architectural metal panel is featured on the Residence Inn Marriott project, the first hotel in Portland’s famous Pearl District. Located in a revitalized area of the inner city that has earned a worldwide reputation for urban renaissance, the 223-room hotel is LEED Silver Certified. The metal panels not only contributed to the recycled content points, but from a design standpoint offering a broad color choice was essential.

Residence on Lake Ontario

Two different applications of RHEINZINK were combined with unequivocal success on the design of a striking single-family home on property overlooking Lake Ontario in Canada. For the roof, the project's architect used single lock standing seam panels, and on the walls, diamond pattern zinc shingles were incorporated as an accent.

Reva And David Logan Center For The Arts

The new Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts at the University of Chicago is comprised of an imposing eight-story tower linked to a pair of low rise wings clad with prePATINA blue-gray roof and wall panels from RHEINZINK America Inc.

A strikingly innovative structure has opened on the campus of RHEINZINK® America’s parent company, RHEINZINK GmbH & Co. KG, in Datteln, Germany. Designed by Daniel Libeskind, the new welcome and reception center is actually a prototype of a residential concept that will be marketed throughout the world.

Rhoads And Johnson Construction Headquarters

When it came time to erect a new office building, Kevin Johnson, owner of Rhoads and Johnson, a design/build construction firm in Fenton, MI, decided to stick to what he does best. That's why he framed the building with a metal building system from Butler Manufacturing and clad the structure with insulated metal panels from Metl-Span.

Rhythm Apartments

You can feel the energy in Milwaukee’s booming Eastside as the neighborhood expands and welcomes newcomers. One of the latest additions is Rhythm Apartments, designed by Eppstein Uhen Architects, Milwaukee. Located on the popular Water Street, the development features micro-sized studios and one-bedroom apartments in a rhythmic building clad in ProCore™ from Citadel Architectural Products.

Richardson Apartments

Under the premise that public housing projects deserve the same level of architectural attention as any other, the new Richardson Apartments in San Francisco is as visually interesting as they come. Featured on its most visible elevation are titanium zinc panels from RHEINZINK American in two of the company’s most popular finishes.

Richardsville Elementary

Richardsville Elementary School is a 72,285 sq. ft., two-story facility that accommodates approximately 500 students. Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Richardsville Elementary values green teaching. For this reason, sustainability was a major goal of this project, which is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council for LEED® Gold Certification and is the nation’s first Net Zero Energy public school. CENTRIA Wall Systems are featured on the school’s exterior.

Richland County Decker Center

CENTRIA products were integral to the Richland County Decker Center’s transformation from a big box mall to central courts facility and sheriff’s headquarters. Formawall® and Versawall® insulated metal panels were selected to overcome the unique architectural challenges associated with this kind of a façade and structure, located in South Carolina, which was originally comprised of many small stores and a supermarket.

Richland Two Institute Of Innovation

The new Richland Two Institute of Innovation is a unique educational center supporting multigenerational learning. The facility is part of the Richland School District Two in Columbia, S.C., and is envisioned as a “fishbowl of learning” that weaves together spaces and programs for the school district as well as the community. PAC-CLAD metal wall, roof and soffit panels from Petersen are featured.

Richmond Fournier Inc.

Richmond Fournier Inc. of Saint-Adrien-D’Irlande, Quebec, Canada won the first-place award in the sustainable category in ATAS International’s 2021 project of the year competition. InSpire HP solar air heating wall panels in Select Blue .032 aluminum were installed on this project. Fournier Industries Group Inc. is a leader in its field, active in the water treatment, mining, aluminum, hydropower, and industrial industries.

Ricky Rocket’s Fuel Center

The new Ricky Rocket’s Fuel Center in Hoffman Estates, Ill., generates head-turning looks with its signature “rocket man” perched atop the 8,200 sq. ft. building. The facility includes a high-tech car wash, convenience store, food outlets and, of course, fuel service. Adding to the attention-getting design are bright yellow and red fascia and soffit panels provided by Petersen Aluminum.

Riddle Hospital Health Center 4

Riddle Hospital’s new Health Center 4, located on the hospital’s campus in Media, PA, combines patient-centered design and environmentally friendly features. The $40 million, 80,000 sq. ft. medical office building embodies today’s best practices for creating new healthcare facilities. And like so many of today’s newest healthcare projects, metal wall panels—in this case from Metl-Span—are featured on its exterior.
