Rail Delivery Services in Fontana, California now has a brand new, custom designed facility, built by Lord Constructors Inc., an American Buildings Company (ABC) Authorized Builder. The facility is designed to handle assembly, distribution, transloading and load securement for Rail Delivery Services’ clients.

Festival Buffet at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., temporarily closed its door in November 2018 for a complete renovation and rebranding. To create a flowing space that would direct customers through what is now called Rainmaker Buffet, JCJ Architecture filled the interior with curves. The soffit curves were created with Flex-C Arch and Flex-C Trac by Flex-Ability Concepts.

One of the recent draws to North Carolina's Research Triangle is capitalizing on architecture from the area’s history. The Raleigh Iron Works, a remake of an old iron foundry district, opened in 2023 to resounding success. Its design, not surprisingly, leans heavily on its past, making ample use of architectural metal roof and wall panels from Petersen to emphasize its industrial history.

The Randall B. Terry, Jr. Companion Animal Veterinary Medical Center ushers in a new era in veterinary medicine at North Carolina State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh. Known as the Terry Center, the 110,000 sq. ft. facility is clad with more than 100,000 sq. ft. of PAC-CLAD steel and aluminum panels in a variety of systems and profiles.

Rigid Frame construction from Varco Pruden Buildings was used to create a 39,917 sq. ft. corporate flight department facility in the County of Douglas, Colorado. Owned by Rare Air Limited LLC, the structure includes a 30,000 sq. ft. hangar and a 9,917 sq. ft. office space/support area.

Kalzip’s FC rainscreen and aluminum standing seam systems were specified by HLM Architects for Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service’s rebuilt and eye-catching Rathfriland Fire Station in Co Down, Ireland. Located in Morrison, CO, Red Rocks' iconic stage was recently outfitted with a larger protective roof form. During its installation, the roof was equipped with a snow retention system from S-5!.

Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation provided more than 67,000 total square feet of metal wall and roof panels for the Redding School of the Arts in Redding, CA, giving the facility a smart and modern look worthy of its high-profile, high performance mission.

Just off the shores of the San Francisco Bay sits the new Redwood Shores Community Library, providing a gathering place and educational center as well as an eco-friendly facility. The 21,500 sq. ft. bay-side building is topped with Morin’s SLR-16 standing seam metal roofing. The panels can be formed from Galvalume®, aluminum, zinc, copper or stainless steel, but in the case of the library project they were formed from 22-gauge steel with a Champagne Bronze Metallic paint finish.

The brand new Reed Row apartments in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C. offers an eclectic, urban sophistication that is reflective of the area. To emphasize the “active” for its growing number of 55-plus-year-old homebuyers, a striking clubhouse with a signature black metal roof from Petersen has become a centerpiece of the development, offering a fitness center and pool, along with tennis and bocce courts and a number of other amenities.
