Rhythm Apartments

You can feel the energy in Milwaukee’s booming Eastside as the neighborhood expands and welcomes newcomers. One of the latest additions is Rhythm Apartments, designed by Eppstein Uhen Architects, Milwaukee. Located on the popular Water Street, the development features micro-sized studios and one-bedroom apartments in a rhythmic building clad in ProCore™ from Citadel Architectural Products.

Richardson Apartments

Under the premise that public housing projects deserve the same level of architectural attention as any other, the new Richardson Apartments in San Francisco is as visually interesting as they come. Featured on its most visible elevation are titanium zinc panels from RHEINZINK American in two of the company’s most popular finishes.

Richardsville Elementary

Richardsville Elementary School is a 72,285 sq. ft., two-story facility that accommodates approximately 500 students. Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Richardsville Elementary values green teaching. For this reason, sustainability was a major goal of this project, which is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council for LEED® Gold Certification and is the nation’s first Net Zero Energy public school. CENTRIA Wall Systems are featured on the school’s exterior.

Richland County Decker Center

CENTRIA products were integral to the Richland County Decker Center’s transformation from a big box mall to central courts facility and sheriff’s headquarters. Formawall® and Versawall® insulated metal panels were selected to overcome the unique architectural challenges associated with this kind of a façade and structure, located in South Carolina, which was originally comprised of many small stores and a supermarket.

Richland Two Institute Of Innovation

The new Richland Two Institute of Innovation is a unique educational center supporting multigenerational learning. The facility is part of the Richland School District Two in Columbia, S.C., and is envisioned as a “fishbowl of learning” that weaves together spaces and programs for the school district as well as the community. PAC-CLAD metal wall, roof and soffit panels from Petersen are featured.

Richmond Fournier Inc.

Richmond Fournier Inc. of Saint-Adrien-D’Irlande, Quebec, Canada won the first-place award in the sustainable category in ATAS International’s 2021 project of the year competition. InSpire HP solar air heating wall panels in Select Blue .032 aluminum were installed on this project. Fournier Industries Group Inc. is a leader in its field, active in the water treatment, mining, aluminum, hydropower, and industrial industries.

Ricky Rocket’s Fuel Center

The new Ricky Rocket’s Fuel Center in Hoffman Estates, Ill., generates head-turning looks with its signature “rocket man” perched atop the 8,200 sq. ft. building. The facility includes a high-tech car wash, convenience store, food outlets and, of course, fuel service. Adding to the attention-getting design are bright yellow and red fascia and soffit panels provided by Petersen Aluminum.

Riddle Hospital Health Center 4

Riddle Hospital’s new Health Center 4, located on the hospital’s campus in Media, PA, combines patient-centered design and environmentally friendly features. The $40 million, 80,000 sq. ft. medical office building embodies today’s best practices for creating new healthcare facilities. And like so many of today’s newest healthcare projects, metal wall panels—in this case from Metl-Span—are featured on its exterior.

Allied Steel Buildings was selected by Chronus Construction to provide a metal warehouse and showroom in Orlando, Florida for RIP-IT, a supplier sporting goods. Allied was selected by Chronus Construction to provide a 120’ x 160’ x 42’ metal warehouse and showroom for the growing company.

Risen Savior Lutheran Church

When Allen Gravitt, director of Executive West Building, Goodyear, Ariz., was hired as the framing and drywall contractor for the expansion of Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Chandler, Ariz., he followed his instincts to bring a bold design to life. Flex-Ability Concepts’ Flex-C Trac and Flex-C Arch were chosen to create curves in the new space - curves on a level not often seen.

River Crossing Corporate Center

River Crossing Corporate Center, the 89,000-square-foot corporate headquarters of M3 Engineering & Technology in Tucson, AZ, is different by design. In an area of the country where stucco buildings are the norm, this two-story structure is clad in more than 30,000 square feet of metal panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels North America and Morin.

River Of Life Church

With their median age of 22.7 years old, the residents of Jacksonville, N.C., earned the city the title of the youngest in the U.S. So, churches interested in attracting these residents need to strike a more modern note. This helped guide the design of the new River Of Life Church, which features metal panels from Petersen.

Riverview Branch Library

The state-of-the-art Riverview Branch Library in Riverview, Florida, won the first-place award for the commercial roofs category in ATAS International’s 2020 project of the year competition. Field-Lok standing seam metal roof panels, manufactured by ATAS in Dove Grey .040 aluminum, were installed on the new library.

Riverview Yacht Condos

Riverview Yacht Condos of Juneau, Alaska recently underwent re-roofing of two of their buildings. When metal roofing contractor Design North, Inc., also of Juneau, was given the latitude of coming up with different re-roofing solutions to prevent chronic leaking problems, their first thought was to use Roof Hugger Retrofit Systems.

Riviera Shopping Mall And Entertainment Center

The exterior of the 915,000 sq. ft. Riviera Shopping Mall and Entertainment Center in Podolsk, Russia bears resemblance to the neighboring Pakhra River, which served as a source of design inspiration for the project. Luminous Alucobond® aluminum composite panels from 3A Composites USA envelop the building’s exterior. The panels are finished with a high-performance paint formulated using LUMIFLON® FEVE resin technology from AGC Inc.

RLI Headquarters

The headquarters building of RLI, a publicly held specialty insurance company in Peoria, IL, had become dated and needed extensive interior and exterior repairs. Originally constructed in 1970, the 81,000 sq. ft. building‘s precast concrete facade had deteriorated significantly. To give the building a new look, RLI hired Dewberry Architects, Inc., Peoria. The firm considered many products to revitalize the building's exterior but ultimately chose zinc claddings from RHEINZINK America Inc. of Woburn, MA.

Roanoke City Market Building

Roanoke, Virginia’s City Market is the oldest continually operating open-air market in the Commonwealth of Virginia. It began with the issuance of 25 licenses to vendors—then known as Hucksters—in 1882. In 1886, two years after the creation of a municipal market was authorized by the first City of Roanoke Charter, the City Market Building was constructed. It became the heart around with the Curb Market and Market Square were developed. When the old building's roof began to fail, putting a new metal system on in its place was the obvious solution. That new roof was manufactured by McNeil Roofing, A Sentrigard Metal Roofing Systems Certified Contractor.
