Florida International University Academic Health Center 4

As a part of its commitment to research, Florida International University invested in several Academic Health Centers - facilities dedicated to student academics and research. Academic Health Center 4 was a $43 million project, featuring metal products from CENTRIA, located on the Modesta A. Maidique Campus. It features an auditorium, rooms designed for small group instruction, classrooms, research labs and offices.

The Pavilion At Ole Miss

Interest in college hoops is at an all-time high. At the University of Mississippi, a new $96.5 million multi-purpose facility - dubbed The Pavilion at Ole Miss - is home to the men’s and women’s basketball programs and host to myriad other events, including graduation ceremonies and concerts. The new arena is topped with a curved metal roof, finished with an architectural paint coating by Valspar.

Gulfstream Building 6003

Gulfstream has grown to become an international leader in business aviation. The demand for Gulfstream products necessitated an additional facility at their Savannah, GA location. To ensure the project’s build speed was up to pace and to meet the overwhelming schedule demand, while at the same time maintaining energy efficiency, Kingspan Insulated Panels were chosen to help expedite the process.

Western Centre For Health And Family Medicine

The new Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine is the gateway building to Western University’s Westminster Campus in London, Ontario, Canada. The building offers a contemporary appearance yet reflects some of the characteristics of the neo-Gothic style of the main campus. Featured on its exterior are RHEINZINK prePATINA blue-grey Vertical Standing Seam Panels. RHEINZINK was also utilized in soffit and flashing applications.

Samsung Device Solutions America Headquarters

Samsung’s new 1.1 million square foot Device Solutions America headquarters building is nearing completion, and turning heads. The impressive 10-story masterpiece in San Jose, CA is visible from miles away, standing dominant among the surrounding Silicon Valley low-rise sprawl. Sitting atop the new headquarters, helping streamline its equipment-cluttered roof, is 900' lineal feet of screening from RoofScreen Mfg.

Sephora Robson Street - Vancouver

Sephora is known for its retail concept, which combines an extensive array of beauty and cosmetic products and distinctive store design. The new Sephora Robson Street retail store in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada features the company logo as a unique sculptural element formed with aluminum composite material (ACM) from 3A Composites USA.

Deadwood Mountain Grand Casino And Resort

Exterior metal wall panels from Metal Sales™ blend modern performance with a vintage look at the newly renovated Deadwood Mountain Grand Casino and Resort in Deadwood, SD. The original building was once a gold ore and slime processing plant for the Homestake Mining Company in the early 1900s. Now wrapped in metal wall panels, the landmark structure is restored to its historic beginnings.

Springfield Town Center Mall

The Springfield Town Center in Springfield, Va., has welcomed its share of shoppers since opening in the early 1970s and was overdue for a renovation. Architects specified Envelope 2000 Metal Composite Material from Citadel Architectural Products for the project because of its durability as well as its appearance.

General Mitchell International Airport

Passengers flying at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee are now greeted by a stunning new baggage claim area. The high-traffic area needed a durable interior and exterior material that also improved the aesthetics. This was accomplished by a single-source supplier, Dri-Design, which manufactured Shadow Series wall panels, standard flat wall panels, and column covers for the renovation and expansion project.

Butterfield Hall Renovation, Michigan State University

Michigan State University’s Butterfield Hall was first opened in 1953. It is named for Kenyon Butterfield, an MSU graduate who also served as President of the university between 1924 and 1928. Starting in 2013, the dormitory facility underwent some major improvements including updates to the interior and exterior of the building – highlighted by metal products from CENTRIA.

Ron De Lugo Federal Courthouse

The Ron De Lugo Federal Courthouse in the U.S. Virgin Islands underwent a major repair and replacement of its roof. The 57,872 sq. ft., three-story federal building is located just a stone’s throw from the ocean in a beautiful bay in St. Thomas. The corrosive saltwater environment was the major factor in specifying Petersen Aluminum panels for the retrofit.

Simply put, it is the modern-looking one with the shiny metal skin and the hangar door to match. The appearance of the door and its size speak to the design versatility associated with the bifold and hydraulic doors offered by Schweiss Doors of Fairfax, MN.

Philadelphia artist Nancy Blum created the art portion of the Central Corridor Light Rail Transit West Bank Station, titled “Immigration/Migration”, using stainless fabrics from GKD. The station is located in Minneapolis, MN.

For most businesses, success spurs growth. The Maui Brewing Company is no exception. To meet the surging demand for its locally brewed craft beers, the award-winning company recently expanded into a newly constructed 42,000 square foot facility in Kihei, HI. Utilized for the building's construction were insulated metal panel systems from Kingspan Insulated Panels.

The Village At Santa Monica

The Village at Santa Monica is the first major residential development to be built on Santa Monica’s prime Ocean Avenue in the last 20 years. The project combines 158 luxury condos and 160 apartments with shops and restaurants. Tall by Santa Monica standards, the mixed-use development rises to 10 stories and includes 20,000 square feet of retail space plus walkable plazas and gardens. Accenting its exterior is RHEINZINK titanium zinc.

Tunica Riverpark & Museum

Direct Metals, an international steel service center with locations in Kennesaw, GA and Waukegan, IL, provided custom aluminum perforated metal in the construction of the Tunica Riverpark & Museum in Tunica, Mississippi.
