A designer, builder and building owner found a product that they like, and they have stuck with it on many collaborative projects. Flex-Ability Concepts’ Flex-C Trac is that product, and it was used to add design detail to the team’s latest creation - Majestic Nail Spa in Dallas, Texas.

Grace Place Church

The new Grace Place Church in Berthoud, CO shows off nearly 30,000 total square feet of wall, roof, and soffit panels from Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation. Grace Place offers live concert performances, retreats and special worship just for kids. In order to make this sanctuary as contemporary as the organization itself, the church needed authentic materials that would match its mission.

Hill 7 Development

A cost-effective design solution brought Dri-Design to the Hill 7 development in Seattle, WA. Dri-Design wall panels clad the exterior of the 222-room Hilton Garden Inn, and Dri-Design Tapered Series Panels are the polished stainless-steel soffit for the adjoining office building. This combination creates a spectacular streetscape for a downtown development.

Due to increased demands of a growing community, the new Spring Volunteer Fire Department No. 78 facility, north of Houston in Spring, TX, was completed recently - with the help of metal roofing and soffit panels from MBCI.

San Francisco International Airport Traffic Control Tower

Design of San Francisco International Airport’s new traffic control tower not only was focused on functional goals - including meeting seismic event standards, offering maximum sightlines and accommodating state-of-the-art electronics - it also needed to serve as an iconic symbol. Aluminum composite material from 3A Composites USA was selected to clad the tower.

Boeing Delivery Center - Charleston

Set to open in 2016, the new development at the Boeing Delivery Center in Charleston, SC will be a state-of-the-art aircraft paint facility. The 256,000 square-foot facility - featuring metal products from CENTRIA - is 10 stories high and almost two football fields wide, big enough to house two Boeing 787 Dreamliners simultaneously.

Sullivan’s Island Elementary School

Following the mantra of “learning by the sea,” the new Sullivan’s Island Elementary School in South Carolina is only a stone’s throw from the Atlantic Ocean. Given its beach-front location, the selection of Petersen’s PAC-CLAD aluminum roof and wall panels was an obvious choice to counter the corrosive environment and protect the school from frequent, punishing storms and occasional earthquakes.

Special Forces Hangar And Support Buildings - Cannon Air Force Base

There's nothing ordinary about the U.S. Army Special Forces, and there's nothing ordinary about the insulated roof and wall systems chosen for several buildings dedicated to the Special Forces and located at Cannon Air Force Base in Curry County, New Mexico. Featured on the unit's new hangar and aircraft maintenance facility are products from Kingspan Insulated Panels North America of Deland, FL.

Buerger Center For Advanced Pediatric Care

In July 2015, the Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care opened as the newest addition to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia campus. Designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and FKP Architects, the 12-story, ambulatory care center is the focus of the new South Campus. Its curving curtainwall systems feature Valspar’s high-performance Fluropon® coating systems in nine bold colors.

The Mother Arnetta Crawford Housing project in Bronx, NY, would have an entirely different look if it followed the original plans for a brick and block structure. Research brought the construction team to a new material and appearance via Dri-Design wall panels.

CREC Academy Of Aerospace And Engineering

The dramatic RHEINZINK-clad “flying wing” sets the tone for the stunning transformation of an aging corporate complex into the new, futuristic-looking home of the Capitol Region Education Council’s new Academy of Aerospace and Engineering. Located in Windsor, CT, the magnet school enrolls more than 700 students in grades 6 through 12 from all districts of the Greater Hartford area.

Lumberton Municipal Utility District Operations Center

Since its creation in 1973, The Lumberton Municipal Utility District has consistently expanded its coverage area to provide water and waste-water services to more than 24,000 residents of the Lumberton, Texas area. With its administrative staff also increasing steadily over the past four decades, the Lumberton MUD opened a new Operations Center in 2014 – featuring metal products from CENTRIA.

500 Wabash

Indiana State University’s 2009 housing project plans came to life in the fall of 2015 with the completion of a new student housing complex, 500 Wabash Ave in Terre Haute, IN. The exterior of the 128,547 sq. ft., five-story mixed-use retail/housing complex is designed to look like a row of smaller buildings, portions of which are clad with Omega-Lite ACM panels from Laminators Inc.

Army Reserve Center – Tallahassee, FL

The new 100-member Army Reserve Center in Tallahassee, Fla., doesn’t look like a typical military installation. The 23,000 sq. ft. building, highlighted by roofing from Petersen, offers a contemporary appearance that is in keeping with today’s modern Army.

Northeast Kingdom Human Services Building

Northeast Kingdom Human Services provides mental health, substance abuse, and developmental services through contracts with the State of Vermont. To better serve its clients in the wide geography of this region, and bring all its services under one roof, a new facility was deemed necessary. Products from Kingspan Insulated Panels played a key role in the new building's design.

Tall and visually striking, Ryerson’s Student Learning Center projects an edgy but confident look, thanks in part to the incorporation of Valspar-finished metal panels on its exterior.
