Tinker Federal Credit Union

Tinker Federal Credit Union recently opened a new branch in Oklahoma City. Architectural firm Trinity Group Architects, Oklahoma City, took a prototype and further developed it to make a standard banking branch something to notice - with the help of curved framing products from Flex-Ability Concepts.

The Tower At PNC Plaza

PPG Industries, with global headquarters in Pittsburgh, announced that its Sungate® passive low-emissivity (low-e) glass, Starphire Ultra-Clear™ glass, Coraflon® powder coatings and PPG Paints™ products were used on The Tower at PNC Plaza, which opened in October 2015 in Pittsburgh. The project was designed to be the world’s greenest office building.

New Orleans East Hospital

The former Pendleton Memorial Methodist Hospital was devastated in the flooding brought on by Hurricane Katrina. Officials broke ground on the New Orleans East Hospital in January of 2013. The $130 million project includes extensive renovation of the East Tower and construction of a new, 71,700-square-foot Patient Care Pavilion. CENTRIA architectural metal products were featured in the design.

Puesta Del Sol

The mountain views from the Puesta Del Sol residence in Avon, CO are rivaled only by the striking architecture of the home that faces Beaver Creek ski area. Designed for a creative couple that loved and demanded the highest quality in all aspects of amenities and materials, the 8,500 sq. ft. home revolves around three long gabled forms topped with RHEINZINK prePATINA blue-grey Double Lock Standing Seam Panels.

Just shy of their 75th year in business, Charter Oak Federal Credit Union was looking to expand — and a brand new headquarters was in order. Known for being more than just a bank, Charter Oak wanted their new building to be a source of civic pride. With the help of Point One Architects and Kingspan Insulated Panels, they succeeded.

National Metal Sales Headquarters

The design of National Metal Sales’ significant expansion of its headquarters facility in Romulus, Mich., has been described as achieving “a classy look in its industrial setting.” NMS, a full-service sheet metal distribution and fabrication center, selected Petersen Aluminum’s Precision Series Horizontal Wall Panels to get the look it wanted.

La Jolla Residence

Uginox Patina K44 Terne Coated Stainless Steel by Aperam is highly corrosion resistant and covered by a 20-year warranty. It can be used in challenging environments as seen on this residential project in the La Jolla community of San Diego, California that was designed by Wallace E. Cunningham Inc., a firm well known for creating unique architecture since 1979.

Owensboro-Daviess Convention Center

Completed in early 2014, the new Owensboro-Daviess Convention Center is a premier meeting and event venue not only for Owensboro and Daviess County, but for all of western Kentucky. The project is contemporary in design and features on its exterior an anodized aluminum panel rainscreen cladding system engineered and fabricated by MetalTech-USA. The Class I anodized aluminum finish was from Lorin Industries.

All Inside Storage

Business is booming for a California developer of storage units for campers, boats, cars and planes. Units from 10' to 100' wide and up to 85' deep features amenities that customers seem to like...including the doors that secure them. All but a few of the more than 130 doors installed so far were manufactured by Schweiss Doors, one of the world's leading producers of bifold and hydraulic doors.

Pulhof Castle

The restoration of historical structures is highly specialized work and requires an expertise very few companies possess. But when the right team is assembled, the results are magnificent. Case in point is Pulhof Castle in Wijnegem, Belgium. Elk Grove Special Waste Collection Center

The City of Elk Grove, California’s Special Waste Collection Center opened in April 2014 with a commitment to a cleaner and greener community. The Center, which features AEP Span’s architectural metal panels, has earned LEED Gold Certification. The facility accepts recyclable materials diverted from local landfills.

University Of Cincinnati College Of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning

Designed by renowned architect Peter Eisenman, and opened in 1996, the Aronoff Center linked together the previously existing Alms, DAAP and Wolfson buildings to form the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning. When the original EIFS façade failed, Overly was selected to design a rainscreen panel system that could meet the structure’s performance challenges while maintaining the architectural integrity of the original design.
