Cube Conference Room

Sometimes it’s about substance. SHW Group’s floating conference room, dubbed The Cube and designed by architect Mike Hall, sits above the lobby of their atrium in Plano, Texas. The lofty conference room’s western side is covered with Austenite 55 Stainless Steel. A handsome finish that captures the light and reflects it, adding interest and distinction to the room, Austenite 55 Stainless Steel is one of the many distinctively finished stainless steels from Contrarian Metal Resources of Allison Park, PA.

CubeSmart Self Storage - St. Petersburg, FL

When real estate firm Altis Cardinal brought CubeSmart Self Storage to St. Petersburg, Florida, it recognized the potential in the city. Since the developers were bringing it to an urban area, they recognized they needed to design a building of high-level aesthetics and performance. Metal panel systems from Kingspan helped those goals be realized.

CubeSmart Storage - Cranston, RI

It's unusual to see aesthetics prioritized on a self-storage project. But the new CubeSmart storage facility in Cranston, RI is no ordinary self-storage project. Thanks to the utilization of two colors of Green Span Profiles insulated panels from McElroy Metal as the primary cladding material—and the incorporation of rooftop solar panels—the two-building development is highly energy efficient too.

CubeSmart Storage - Houston

GreenSpace Holdings LLC is focused on constructing “cost-reducing self-storage solutions with an emphasis on environmental conservatism.” The company’s most recent project is a 181,000 square-foot facility in Houston and it will be a part of the CubeSmart franchise. The exterior of the new building is clad with multiple colors and styles of insulated metal panels from Metl-Span.

Cumberland Farms Convenience Store

Operating in 10 Northeastern states, Cumberland Farms is one of the largest regional convenience store chains in the United States. The company is hoping to parlay its name recognition into success in the Florida market as well and to boosts its efforts has developed a new prototype store design that uses Kingspan KarrierPanel™ as one of its key construction components.

Cuyahoga Falls City Hall Reroof

Rather than replacing the existing shingle roof on Cuyahoga Falls City Hall, Garland’s R-Mer® Loc system was chosen to handle the challenging reroof project. This high-performance metal solution would prove more adaptable to the building’s architecture, and installing hat channels and retrofitting panels would be far cheaper than reinstalling shingles.

CVS Pharmacies Distribution Center

When CVS/pharmacy, America’s leading retail pharmacy, constructed its new distribution center in Chemung County, NY, the company covered the 750,000-square-foot facility with approximately 220,000 square feet of insulated metal panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels North America.

Cycle Gear

Tejas Contractors recently created curved walls with Flex-C Trac by Flex-Ability Concepts at a new Cycle Gear branch in Katy, Texas. Radius soffits and curved walls were incorporated in the store for a helmet display wall and three feature walls.

D Casino Hotel

The new D Casino Hotel in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada is the result of a major renovation and renaming of the old Fitzgeralds Casino at the eastern end of the Fremont Street Experience, a canopied pedestrian mall and entertainment attraction. The facility’s entrance features metal panels from Petersen Aluminum Corp.

D.K.’s Market

The 650 residents of the small farming community of Hamel, Ill., 30 miles northeast of St. Louis, had not enjoyed the convenience of a local grocery store in over 10 years. To remedy this problem, four local couples joined together to finance and build D.K.'s Market (named after the initials of the owners' children) and chose as contractor R.W. Boeker Company, also of Hamel, a Ceco Building Systems builder since 1987.

Daily Planet Globe

Back in the day, most families had a globe in their home. That's not the case today, but even if it were, it's a good bet none would be as big or as accurate as the one now sitting in front of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, NC. That globe is 70' in diameter and skinned with stainless steel panels fabricated by Overly Mfg.Co.

Dairy Farmers Of America Milk Processing Plant

Named 2018 Sustainable Plant of the Year by Food Engineering magazine, the new Dairy Farmers of America milk processing plant in Garden City, KS is an example for future facilities to follow. Utilized for its construction were more than 300,000 sq. ft. of insulated metal panel systems from Kingspan Insulated Panels.

Dallas City Performance Hall

The Dallas City Performance Hall is a 70,000 sq. ft., 750-seat professional theater located in the 68-acre renowned City of Dallas Arts District. The $40.5 million facility opened in September 2012 and is designed for theater, music, and dance performance companies. The building is topped with a dramatic roof that utilizes Kalzip Alupluszinc 65/400 continuous panels in varying lengths to form the natural layered wave.

1848 Construction Inc. of Middleton, WI, was the Authorized Varco Pruden Builder for a new distillery and bar establishment in Cambridge, WI. Designed by Sketchworks Architecture LLC, also of Middleton, Dancing Goat Distillery has a distinctive look that blends well with the surrounding vineyards.

Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium Expansion

The University of Texas at Austin opened its 2021 Longhorns football season by debuting its new south end zone expansion that enclosed the horseshoe configuration of Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium. Aluminum composite material from 3A Composites USA was used with this project.

David H. Murdock Core Laboratory

Located on the North Carolina Research Campus in Kannapolis, NC, the David H. Murdock Core Laboratory features a beautiful copper standing seam roof that is the perfect complement to the facility’s brick exterior. The focal point of the laboratory’s roof is a majestic copper dome topped by a 10’-high copper finial, created from copper supplied by Ornametals.
