Corinth High School Softball Complex

When it comes to high school softball facilities, the complex at Corinth High School in Corinth, MS is hard to beat. In addition to synthetic turf, the complex includes an admissions/ticket building with restrooms and concessions, a field house with locker rooms and a covered batting cage, an aluminum grandstand, a press box and sunken dugouts. Brick construction ties it all together, as does Englert Series 2000 standing seam roofing.

CornerStone Bank

Though most people associate tile roofing with Mediterranean and Southwestern designs, it has long been popular in Northern and Eastern Europe as well. So when CornerStone State Bank developed plans for a new location in a Czech-influenced area in Minnesota, they wanted a design that would fit with the roots of this farming community. The use of a Met-Tile metal tile panel roof system from McElroy Metal helped.

Cornerstone Bible Church Reroof

When the old asbestos diamond shaped shingles began to fail on the Cornerstone Bible Church in Glendora, California, ATAS’ CastleTop was chosen as a replacement. The shape of the .032 aluminum panels, which resembled the original shingles in appearance, was an important factor in their choice of a replacement roofing material.

Corpus Christi Bayfront Arena

The Corpus Christi Bayfront Arena in Corpus Christi, TX, utilizes 53,000 sq. ft. of CF36A polyurethane foam insulated panels installed in both horizontal and vertical directions. Manufactured by Lewisville, TX-based Metl-Span, the 2”-thick panels feature a Bright Silver Duranar paint finish, lending to the striking appearance of the 150,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility. The building was designed by Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates of Atlanta.

On a pleasant autumn day in Fairfax, Minnesota, two representatives from CILC Central America Corporation, Costa Rica division, arrived to tour the Schweiss Doors factory and place an order for a bifold liftstrap door that would be the first of its kind in Central America.

Cougar Place Replacement Housing

As part of an aggressive master plan for its campus, the University of Houston demolished an existing seven-acre apartment complex and constructed Cougar Place Replacement Housing. The contemporary 300,000 sq. ft., four-story building – featuring metal panels from Petersen Aluminum - includes 800 student beds and will house sophomore and other upper-class level students.

Courtyard By Marriott NYC Lower Manhattan

An attractive metal mesh screen-wall created by Cambridge Architectural for the Courtyard by Marriott in Lower Manhattan proved to be a creative solution for meeting New York City zoning and building codes while offering solar shading for hotel guestrooms on the lower floors.

Coxe Cage

The venerable Coxe Cage field house at Yale University in New Haven, Conn. remains an integral part of the school’s track and field history thanks to the building’s new metal roof supplied by Petersen Aluminum. Although the old cinder track and dirt floor were replaced with modern surfaces in 1982, the roof and its large, single-glazed skylight – both of which had deteriorated badly and needed replacing – had remained largely untouched for 80 years, until late 2013.

Creative Technology Accelerator

The Creative Technology Accelerator is not only the first building in Dayton’s technology park known as Tech Town, but it is also the City of Dayton’s first LEED Gold building. The 42,000 sq. ft. high-tech facility will house companies developing business in advanced technology sectors. How appropriate then that the building is clad in part with an advanced technology product—a patented dry joint, pressure-equalized rainscreen system from Dri-Design. Approximately 10,000 sq. ft. of the .063” aluminum panels are featured on the building, in Sherwood Green, Sandstone and Patina Green colors.

CREC Academy Of Aerospace And Engineering

The dramatic RHEINZINK-clad “flying wing” sets the tone for the stunning transformation of an aging corporate complex into the new, futuristic-looking home of the Capitol Region Education Council’s new Academy of Aerospace and Engineering. Located in Windsor, CT, the magnet school enrolls more than 700 students in grades 6 through 12 from all districts of the Greater Hartford area.

Creekside Community Centre

During the 2010 Winter Olympics, the Creekside Community Centre served as a media and administrative centre. At the conclusion of the games the building was turned over to the City of Vancouver, where it serves as a lasting recreation legacy. The 45,000 sq. ft. facility exemplifies Vancouver's commitment to sustainable construction. Featured on the building's exterior are 18-gauge panels fashioned from RHEINZINK® material.

Crocker Museum Renovation And Expansion

The Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento lays claim to being the oldest continuously operating museum in the Western United States. Yet the museum's best days may be ahead, thanks in part an ambitious renovation and expansion plan that saw 100,000 sq. ft. of new space added. Juxstaposed with the Crocker Art Gallery, family mansion and various additions through the years, the new volume is itself a modern work of art. It is clad with aluminum plate panels and Flat-Lock panels from RHEINZINK America Inc.

Since their introduction in the mid-2000s, Crocs has become one of the world's most recognizable shoes. Now the shoe company has a flagship New York City retail location that's every bit as iconic. ALPOLIC® composite metal panels, finished with Valspar's Valflon coating, were key to creating the storefront's innovative look.

Crossing Church

It used to be that churches, no matter the religious affiliation, shared many similar traits – never straying too far from a consistent set of traditional and expected details: stained glass, a steeple, pews, song books, a piano. Today, tradition has given way to reinvention as can be seen at The Crossing Church in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. It was brought to life with the help of products from Star Building Systems.

Crossroads School

The Crossroads School in Norfolk, Virginia is the district’s first LEED-certified educational facility. The original structure was built in 1945 and was recently replaced with a new, 145,000-square-foot campus. The K-8 facility won one of only three Gold Design Awards presented by the 2012 Virginia School Boards Association at the Exhibition of School Architecture. Part of the project’s design success is owed to the ALPOLIC ACM featured on its exterior.
