Cite Shopping Mall

To spur the local economy, government officials in the Baden-Baden area of Germany granted permission for a retail development on land previously designated as a conservation area. On the heels of that decision came the design and construction of the new Cité Shopping Mall. It features 260,000 sq. ft. retail space contained in a pair of round buildings connected to one another by a covered passageway. The buildings were designed by Form A Architects and clad with nearly 140,000 sq. ft. of stucco-embossed Kalzip aluminum standing seam panels.

Citizens State Bank

In the addition and renovation of Citizens State Bank’s main headquarters in Somerville, TX, BBA Architects, LP, of Brenham, TX, sought to carry forth the architectural identity it had helped establish in two earlier branch designs. With its sizable addition and a new look that blends local limestone with contractor-fabricated and factory manufactured metal products, the bank’s home office re-establishes its presence as an economic and cultural anchor in the community.

City Of Greenville Public Works Campus

In May 2016, the City of Greenville, SC contracted with DP3 Architects of Greenville, Harper Construction of Greenville and Ceco Builder ProSteel of Clover, SC, to build their new facility. The main goal was to find a building that complemented the public services industry for the City of Greenville. The current operations were dispersed throughout the city in older facilities that needed major updating. A central location would allow for more efficient operation and communication.

City Of Indianola Pool House Renovation

The City of Indianola’s pool house was a place for the community’s children to enjoy the summer months, but as the facility deteriorated over time, the pool was forced to close. Ultimately, it was decided to refurbish the existing building, with the help of metal panels from MBCI.

City Of Ottawa Fire Stations No. 55 & 36

The City of Ottawa, Canada has fire stations located across the city to provide emergency services to more than 1 million residents. Based on the results of a study, it was recommended to close two stations in the east and build two new ones. Station No. 55 was built in a suburban area of the city among new housing developments while Station No. 36 is in a developing industrial area. Both stations feature Garland's R-Mer® Span panels.

City Of San Marcos Public Service Complex

With a desire to bring city agencies to a modern centralized location, the City of San Marcos, Texas, constructed nine buildings on a single site. A consistent design element throughout the new Public Service Complex was metal roofing, wall panels and components from MBCI.

City Of Tucson Water Department

A new three-building project for the City of Tucson Water Department provides office and warehouse space, along with a shop facility. Totaling 21,127 sq. ft., the buildings feature metal systems from Star Building Systems. The project earned LEED Silver Certification.

City Of Vancouver Salt Storage

When Easy Build Structures, an authorized VersaTube® dealer based in Surrey, British Columbia, reported the sale and construction of a customized building to the City of Vancouver for use as a salt storage cover, it represented yet another new market application for the company’s flexible steel building designs.

It’s also a high-performance residence, achieving multiple energy and environmental certifications. Metal wall and roof panels from Petersen play a starring role in in both its design and performance.

Clarian Saxony Medical Center

In 1963, the population of Fishers, IN was around 350 people. Today, the city is home to more than 75,000. Despite such growth, Fishers had never had its own hospital until late in 2011 when the $190 million Clarian Saxony Medical Center opened its doors to patients. In its design of the acute care facility, HKS Architects of Dallas incorporated approximately 30,000 sq. ft. of Metl-Span insulated metal wall systems.

Clark Knapp Honda

The new Clark Knapp Honda auto dealership in Pharr, Texas celebrated its grand opening June 18, 2014 in a facility that incorporates the American Honda Motor Co.’s Generation 3 prototype dealership architectural design, including an expansive two-story showroom. Aluminum composite material from 3A Composites USA was among the products used in the construction of the new dealership.

Clark Middle School

The new Clark Middle School is located on an urban-oriented 23.75 acre site in the Mt. View section of Anchorage, Alaska. The area had experienced hard times in recent years, but is now an integral part of the city's revitalization program, situated in an up-and-coming arts and cultural district. Playing a key role in the design of the new school were architectural metal products from CENTRIA.

Clarks Logistic Center

The Clarks Logistic Center in Hanover, Pa., is a 451,000-square-foot distribution facility. Built with the company’s future in mind - and featuring metal products from CENTRIA - the project uses the latest in material handling technology. The center ships out an average of 100,000 pairs of shoes a day through the use of 4-1/2 miles of conveyor belts and an employee base of nearly 500. The building achieved LEED® Gold Certification for its high-performance building envelope, among other factors.

Clear Lake Chinese Church

Whirlwind Steel Buildings, a metal building manufacturer headquartered in Houston, TX, together with Crain Group LLC, a construction management firm, were key players in the completion of a 10,000 sq. ft. addition to the Clear Lake Chinese Church in Webster, TX. The client envisioned a sporting arena as well as food service and classroom areas. The building has morphed into a mix of open and enclosed spaces with ample room for basketball courts and a stage for theatre productions.

Clearwater Ice Arena

When the owner of the Clearwater Ice Arena wanted to expand the current building, hoping to lure the local National Hockey League team into a state-of-the-art practice facility, constructing an energy-efficient building was among the top considerations. Insulated metal panels (IMPs) from Metl-Span provided the solution with the desired R-value, while offering single-pass construction to help erect the building quicker and with less expense.

Clemson Littlejohn Coliseum

Renovations and an addition to the Clemson Littlejohn Coliseum at Clemson University utilized the uniquely multi-purpose capabilities of CENTRIA’s Formawall® Dimension Series® insulated metal panels. Addressing both aesthetic and technical challenges, these metal panels in Arctic Ice and Slate Grey, in addition to IW Series rainscreen panels in Midnight Bronze, improved the building’s overall appearance and the fan experience at the arena.

Cliff Hangers

Approaching the new Cliff Hangers facility in Mooresville, NC, visitors are greeted by climbers scaling an outdoor climbing wall directly above the front doors. It's an impressive sight, but so too is the building itself. It is clad predominantly with two carefully arranged colors of Metl-Span insulated metal wall panels.
