A unique and challenging roofing problem on a large school called for a permanent solution. Freedom Roofing Solutions of Vilonia, AR provided one by topping the gymnasium at Greers Ferry High School in Greers Ferry, AR with a jobsite-fabricated Drexel Metals standing seam metal roof system.

The usually busy Fort Hays State University campus was closer to a ghost town when the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March. Students were attending classes online and athletic events were canceled. It turned out to be the perfect time to reroof – and re-wall – the school's Gross Memorial Coliseum. The building's original copper roof panels were replaced with jobsite-formed 238T symmetrical standing seam panels from McElroy Metal.

This stunning 67,844 sq. ft. government building for the U.S. General Services Administration, located in the Mesa del Sol community of Albuquerque, NM, combines parking and storage space on the ground floor and offices on the second floor. More than 200 volunteers, donors, guests and guide dog teams were on hand in December as Guide Dogs of America (GDA) unveiled its latest expansion in Sylmar, Calif. The new 16,000 square foot facility features a bifold liftstrap glass designer door from Schweiss Doors.

A very private beachfront residence in Gulf County, Florida, used approximately 5,200 sq. ft. of .040” aluminum Snap-Clad panels in silver color in both tapered and straight applications. Petersen Aluminum was chosen as metal roof supplier for its ability to make the tapered panels in the desired single 19-foot lengths and then the balance of the straight panels.

The new Gulf Gate Public Library in Sarasota, Florida has opened as a sparkling, high-tech replacement for the highly used but aging facility previously located on the same site. Approximately 15,000 sq. ft. of Petersen Aluminum’s PAC-CLAD Tite-Loc Plus panels and 8,000 sq. ft. of Snap-Clad panels were utilized to help accomplish the design objectives and stay within budget.

Gulfstream has grown to become an international leader in business aviation. The demand for Gulfstream products necessitated an additional facility at their Savannah, GA location. Completed in the 7th century CE, the Hwanryongsa Temple's Wooden Pagoda was once the tallest wooden building in the entire world. Although destroyed in the 13th century, it remains an important symbol of the heritage of Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. In creating a modern-day homage to the historic structure, designers utilized anodized aluminum processed by Lorin Industries.

A new project from Varco Pruden Builder™ Ascent Construction Inc. is the Gymnastics Training Center facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Designed by HKG Architecture of Salt Lake City, the 25,505-square-foot building provides dance and gymnastics training spaces and serves as a venue for competitions. The steel building structure features high vertical structural clearance, an open second-level mezzanine, a large viewing/seating area, recessed concrete pits and runways for trampolines and other uses.

When Baldassarra Architects was tasked with designing a 716,646 square-foot warehouse located at the GTA East Industrial Park in Ajax, Ontario, the firm responded with a conceptual design for an attractive building that could appeal to a wide range of corporate interests, and satisfying high standards for aesthetics. But insulated metal wall panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels proved the perfect cladding solution for reasons beyond looks alone.

The 131-room H Hotel has earned a reputation as the Midland area’s most complete meeting and conference facility. Major renovation plans coincided with new management and a Dow leadership decision to locate its H.H. Dow Leadership Academy within the hotel, conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Midland and near the corporate headquarters.

The new Habitat ReStore facility in Kenner, Louisiana features Rigid Frame construction by Varco Pruden Buildings. Recognizing the innovative design and quality of workmanship, the 25,000 sq. ft. structure was selected as the winner in the Retail category of the 2020 Varco Pruden Hall of Fame Awards.

When he decided to build his dream home in Palm Desert, CA, he used the very best that money could buy. That's why he covered the $30 million home's 57 curved and angled roof segments with 20 oz. Tecu Oxide copper, and why he wrapped its fascia surfaces with gold crystal-finish titanium panels. Responsible for the fabrication and installation of both the copper roofing and the titanium fascia panels was M.G. McGrath Architectural Sheet Metal of Maplewood, MN.

When HALDRUP GmbH of Ilshofen, Germany began searching for a place to put a new U.S. plant, they had their building plans in hand. Duplicating a building design already in use back home, the new 27,000 sq. ft. facility was constructed in Indiana using a metal building system from American Buildings and insulated metal wall panels from All Weather Insulated Panels.

Located in Clifton Park, NY, the 55,000 sq. ft. Clifton Park Halfmoon Library is a model of environmentally advanced architecture and was designed to capture energy savings in the millions of dollars. The $15 million facility was built with a grant from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and was designed and built with the environment foremost in mind, notes library officials. Among its many sustainable elements is its 9,000 sq. ft. Englert standing seam metal roof.
