Hampton Lakes Condominiums

In Bluffton, SC, 8,000 sq. ft. of COOLR® roofing metal was the material of choice for a Coach Homes and Condominiums project in the Hampton Lakes development. COOLR is a product of Sheffield Metals, Sheffield, OH. The 24-gauge, 20”-wide roofing metal—featuring a Medium Bronze paint finish—was formed into 17”-wide panels with a 1”-high standing seam by 4M Metals of Hilton Head, SC. RoofCrafters of Savannah, GA, handled the installation. Estate Builders was the general contractor.

Hangar 25 At Bob Hope Airport

Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation, a premier nationwide provider of metal roof and wall panels for the building and construction industry, outfitted Hangar 25 at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA with 57,000 square feet of T-2832 and TLC-1 metal wall panels. The Metal Sales exterior contributed to the LEED platinum facility, in addition to providing striking aesthetic benefits.

Hangar Delta

It's easy to see that Hangar Delta is not a typical aviation facility. The 12,950 sq. ft. structure in Aurora, Oregon is shaped to match the angle of a facing street, while a mono-pitch roof with opposing parapet creates a unique roof line. The eye-catching private showcase hangar was created with Varco Pruden Buildings' Rigid Frame system.

Hank Aaron State Trail Valley Passage Bridge

Used extensively by bicyclists, walkers, runners and skaters, the Hank Aaron State Trail in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recently opened the new Valley Passage Bridge to guide users across the Menomonee River. Covering the new bridge is curved metal roofing from Floline Architectural Systems. The trail is named for legendary baseball player Hank Aaron, who began his major league baseball career in 1954 with the Milwaukee Braves and wrapped it up in 1976 with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Harbison Court Shopping Center

Strategically located near I-26 and in the primary retail corridor of a growing residential area in Greater Columbia, South Carolina, Harbison Court Shopping Center has over 301,000 sq. ft. of retail property. Originally opened in 1991 and redeveloped in 2006, the property recently underwent a major facelift, with ACM panels from Laminators Inc. of Hatfield, PA among the materials utilized.

Hardin Memorial Hospital

Exponential growth of staff and services, in addition to the rapidly changing standards in modern architecture, spurred the decision to embark on a $90 million expansion to Hardin Memorial Hospital’s facilities in Elizabethtown, Ky. Architectural metal products from CENTRIA played a key role in the design of the new facility.

Hare Residence

Most large recreational vehicles exceed 12 feet in height, so a garage for a large RV needs to be tall and wide. Schweiss Doors has handled many requests for bifold doors to fit these needs, sometimes designing a door that appears to be half its height to get around local zoning restrictions.

Harper Fiat

The new Harper Fiat dealership in Knoxville, Tennessee boasts a grand showroom with parts and service departments. Interstate Steel Corp. of Knoxville, Tennessee worked with Vulcraft Verco Group, a supplier of steel joists, steel joist girders and steel decking, to complete the 11,500 sq. ft. facility.

Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center

Harriet Tubman's life story was both amazing and inspirational. In creating a building dedicated to celebrating her role in the Underground Railroad, GWWO Architects of Baltimore looked for products that were symbolically relevant and visually memorable. To meet both objectives, the firm specified zinc from RHEINZINK America Inc.

Harvest Fellowship

Located on a former wheat field in Brighton, Colorado, is Harvest Fellowship. This 17,280 square foot multi-span church facility, including a sanctuary and gazebo, features metal systems from Metallic Building Company. The structure combines a unique mixture of textures, including the use of stucco-embossed steel PBR panels, faux stone columns and metal roofing.

Haughton Middle School

More than 130,000 sq. ft. of Metl-Span CF36R insulated panels were utilized to reroof the eight-building Haughton Middle School complex in Haughton, LA. The 2 ½” panels were finished in Cool Bright Red and replaced a standing seam metal roof that was not performing properly.

Hawks Nest Retrofit – Chowan University

Benchmark Buildings and Irrigation, an Architectural Metal System (AMS) Authorized Roofer, reroofed the Hawks Nest, a recreational center at Chowan University, with a new metal Standing Seam 360 barrel roof. The small private school in Murfreesboro, N.C., had a badly deteriorating roof; disposal of the roof was too costly and replacing the building was not an option.

Heart Of Dixie Harley-Davidson

Multiple products by Metallic Building Co. were used to construct this 51,000 sq. ft. vehicle dealership, including the company’s Long Bay System, which helps achieve wide areas of open spacing for the motorcycle displays.

Heart Of The City Health Center

The Heart of the City Health Center serves as the new home for the Ferguson Adult Health Center and Grand Rapid Pediatrics. A consolidation of three separate healthcare providers, this joint venture will provide primary healthcare services to an additional 8,000 low-income individuals in the area annually. CENTRIA products are prominent elements of the facility’s design.

Helen Hayes Hospital

Historical projects can be difficult to repair and renovate; much time and effort is spent trying to maintain the historical look and feel of the project. Helen Hayes Hospital, in West Haverstraw, NY, had a 100-year-old slate roof that needed to be replaced. As a rehabilitation facility for inpatient and outpatient care, it was important for the facility to remain open and operable during the reroofing process. Additionally, the new product had to be easy and quick to install. DECRA Shake stone coated steel roofing, in Mist Grey, was chosen for the project.

Helena Aviation Readiness Center

In the late 1990s, a changed mission and substantial growth called for the conversion and expansion of the Helena Aviation Readiness Center’s relatively new attack battalion armory. After two decades in waiting, that project finally got the green light. Completed in August 2017, the new building now meets the current needs of the Montana Army National Guard and, thanks to the inclusion of metal wall panels from Citadel Architectural Products, conforms to the federal government’s high standards for sustainable construction.

Hennepin County Human Services And Public Health Department Headquarters

The Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health Department in Minneapolis, MN has a renovated office hub. A printing plant once occupied the cinderblock building that has been transformed with a Dri-Design Wall Panel System in both flat and Tapered Series panels. A corner building that many probably never noticed is now an original structure that fosters attention.

Hennepin County Library - Brooklyn Park

The libraries of today are inviting learning environments that encourage collaboration and exploration. Hennepin County Library – Brooklyn Park in Minnesota is a testament to this philosophy, and Dri-Design VMZINC Wall Panels were used to complete the vision.
