Gulfstream Building 6003

Gulfstream has grown to become an international leader in business aviation. The demand for Gulfstream products necessitated an additional facility at their Savannah, GA location. To ensure the project’s build speed was up to pace and to meet the overwhelming schedule demand, while at the same time maintaining energy efficiency, Kingspan Insulated Panels were chosen to help expedite the process.

Gusto 501

Challenging projects require creative solutions, and there were challenges aplenty with the construction of Gusto 501, a recently completed landmark-type restaurant in Toronto, Ontario, Canada’s historically industrial Corktown neighborhood. With the look of a weathered industrial building outside and the vibe of a classic Italian restaurant in, the unique structure is clad with insulated metal panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels – North America.

Gyeongju Tower

Completed in the 7th century CE, the Hwanryongsa Temple's Wooden Pagoda was once the tallest wooden building in the entire world. Although destroyed in the 13th century, it remains an important symbol of the heritage of Gyeongju City, North Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. In creating a modern-day homage to the historic structure, designers utilized anodized aluminum processed by Lorin Industries.

Gymnastics Training Center

A new project from Varco Pruden Builder™ Ascent Construction Inc. is the Gymnastics Training Center facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Designed by HKG Architecture of Salt Lake City, the 25,505-square-foot building provides dance and gymnastics training spaces and serves as a venue for competitions. The steel building structure features high vertical structural clearance, an open second-level mezzanine, a large viewing/seating area, recessed concrete pits and runways for trampolines and other uses.

H & M Ajax Warehouse

When Baldassarra Architects was tasked with designing a 716,646 square-foot warehouse located at the GTA East Industrial Park in Ajax, Ontario, the firm responded with a conceptual design for an attractive building that could appeal to a wide range of corporate interests, and satisfying high standards for aesthetics. But insulated metal wall panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels proved the perfect cladding solution for reasons beyond looks alone.

H Hotel

Home to The Dow Chemical Company headquarters, it is fitting that the city of Midland, Mich., is the site of the historic first exterior use of THERMAX™ (ci) Exterior Insulation. And the timing couldn’t be better, with the new ASHRAE prescriptive requirements for continuous insulation in most U.S. climate zones. The 131-room H Hotel has earned a reputation as the Midland area’s most complete meeting and conference facility. Major renovation plans coincided with new management and a Dow leadership decision to locate its H.H. Dow Leadership Academy within the hotel, conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Midland and near the corporate headquarters.

Habitat ReStore - Kenner, LA

The new Habitat ReStore facility in Kenner, Louisiana features Rigid Frame construction by Varco Pruden Buildings. Recognizing the innovative design and quality of workmanship, the 25,000 sq. ft. structure was selected as the winner in the Retail category of the 2020 Varco Pruden Hall of Fame Awards.

Hagadone Residence

Duane Hagadone wasn't born into money but over the course of his 74 years he's amassed a fortune. When he decided to build his dream home in Palm Desert, CA, he used the very best that money could buy. That's why he covered the $30 million home's 57 curved and angled roof segments with 20 oz. Tecu Oxide copper, and why he wrapped its fascia surfaces with gold crystal-finish titanium panels. Responsible for the fabrication and installation of both the copper roofing and the titanium fascia panels was M.G. McGrath Architectural Sheet Metal of Maplewood, MN.

HALDRUP USA Administration And Production Hall

When HALDRUP GmbH of Ilshofen, Germany began searching for a place to put a new U.S. plant, they had their building plans in hand. Duplicating a building design already in use back home, the new 27,000 sq. ft. facility was constructed in Indiana using a metal building system from American Buildings and insulated metal wall panels from All Weather Insulated Panels.

Halfmoon Public Library

Located in Clifton Park, NY, the 55,000 sq. ft. Clifton Park Halfmoon Library is a model of environmentally advanced architecture and was designed to capture energy savings in the millions of dollars. The $15 million facility was built with a grant from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and was designed and built with the environment foremost in mind, notes library officials. Among its many sustainable elements is its 9,000 sq. ft. Englert standing seam metal roof.

HALL Arts Residences

At the HALL Arts Residences in Dallas, people have the opportunity to live in a thoughtfully designed 28-story tower with views of award-winning architecture in the Dallas Arts District. The spine of the residential tower is clad in Dri-Design Wall Panels that respond to the project’s artistic vision and create a playful material variation.

Halo Branded Solutions Headquarters

Combining two building locations onto a new site, the single-story Halo Branded Solutions headquarters houses approximately 500 employees in an open office environment separated by different ceiling heights and freestanding structures such as conference rooms. Using long bay truss purlins by Star Building Systems to create the structure, Winter Construction Inc. was able to complete the 157,000 square foot facility in twelve months.

Hamad International Airport

The Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar is impressive by any measure and distinctive for many reasons, including being the largest stainless steel roofing project in the world. Installation of the 3.8 million square feet of roofing material began in 2007 with the specification of InvariMatte, the signature stainless steel product of Contrarian Metal Resources, Allison Park, PA.

Hamburg Casino

The newly completed Hamburg Casino in Hamburg, NY is one of the highlights of the enormous Erie County Fairgrounds. In addition to the casino, the 275,000-acre complex includes the Buffalo Raceway horse track, an exposition hall, four parks, campgrounds and an event center. Featured on the exterior of both the two-story, 66,000 sq. ft. casino and the attached expo center are insulated metal wall and roof panels from Metl-Span.

Hamilton City School District Operations Facility

The Hamilton City School District Operations Facility prominently features products from Star Building Systems. Located in Hamilton, Ohio, the project consists of a main gabled building which supports an at-eave lean-to on one sidewall and a below-eave lean-to on the opposite wall.

Hampton Lakes Condominiums

In Bluffton, SC, 8,000 sq. ft. of COOLR® roofing metal was the material of choice for a Coach Homes and Condominiums project in the Hampton Lakes development. COOLR is a product of Sheffield Metals, Sheffield, OH. The 24-gauge, 20”-wide roofing metal—featuring a Medium Bronze paint finish—was formed into 17”-wide panels with a 1”-high standing seam by 4M Metals of Hilton Head, SC. RoofCrafters of Savannah, GA, handled the installation. Estate Builders was the general contractor.

Hangar 25 At Bob Hope Airport

Metal Sales Manufacturing Corporation, a premier nationwide provider of metal roof and wall panels for the building and construction industry, outfitted Hangar 25 at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA with 57,000 square feet of T-2832 and TLC-1 metal wall panels. The Metal Sales exterior contributed to the LEED platinum facility, in addition to providing striking aesthetic benefits.

Hangar Delta

It's easy to see that Hangar Delta is not a typical aviation facility. The 12,950 sq. ft. structure in Aurora, Oregon is shaped to match the angle of a facing street, while a mono-pitch roof with opposing parapet creates a unique roof line. The eye-catching private showcase hangar was created with Varco Pruden Buildings' Rigid Frame system.

Hank Aaron State Trail Valley Passage Bridge

Used extensively by bicyclists, walkers, runners and skaters, the Hank Aaron State Trail in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, recently opened the new Valley Passage Bridge to guide users across the Menomonee River. Covering the new bridge is curved metal roofing from Floline Architectural Systems. The trail is named for legendary baseball player Hank Aaron, who began his major league baseball career in 1954 with the Milwaukee Braves and wrapped it up in 1976 with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Harbison Court Shopping Center

Strategically located near I-26 and in the primary retail corridor of a growing residential area in Greater Columbia, South Carolina, Harbison Court Shopping Center has over 301,000 sq. ft. of retail property. Originally opened in 1991 and redeveloped in 2006, the property recently underwent a major facelift, with ACM panels from Laminators Inc. of Hatfield, PA among the materials utilized.
