Indian Hills Elementary School

The new Indian Hills Elementary School in Independence, MO has been described as “one of the nicer looking elementary schools in the Kansas City area.” The 68,000 sq. ft. facility is part of the Fort Osage R-1 School District and was designed by DLR Group, Overland Park, KS. Included on its exterior are ProCore™ metal wall panels from Citadel Architectural Products.

Indian River County Intergenerational Recreation Center

Located in Vero Beach, Florida, the Indian River County Intergenerational Recreation Center opened its doors for the first time in August 2016. The new facility, branded by the County as the iG (Intergenerational Center), is commonly referred to as ‘Big Red’ – an apt name given its Bright Red IMETCO Series 300® metal roof.

Indian Springs School

When founded in 1952, the master plan for Indian Springs School in Birmingham, Ala., called for campus development to maintain focus on the lake at the center of the school’s wooded 350-acre property. During the past 30 years, however, focus was lost, so a new plan was made to demolish then construct buildings - featuring metal roofing from Petersen - that re-establish a connection to the lake.

Indiana Law Enforcement Center

The new Law Enforcement Center in Elkhart, IN, is a joint venture with the Indiana Department of Administration and the Indiana State Police. The office and training center is the first building in the state to co-locate four law enforcement agencies. The high-tech facility functions as an Indiana State Police post and also houses components of three additional Indiana law enforcement entities. Covering a portion of the new building's exterior are rainscreen wall panels from Dri-Design.

Indiana Orthopaedic Center

Approximately 2,500 sq. ft. of Citadel Architectural Products’ Envelope 2000 aluminum composite material wall panels provide an attractive highlight on the new Indiana Orthopaedic Center in Indianapolis, IN. Finished in Patina Green, the complementary accent panels were used on an entrance canopy, fascia band and column covers. They were installed using Citadel’s progressive Reveal System.

Indianapolis Museum of Art

A major expansion of the Indianapolis Museum of Art included extensive RHEINZINK® material used in three different applications. The $74 million project added 140,000 sq. ft. to the Museum including three new wings, 50 percent more gallery space, an outdoor garden court and other visitor amenities.The cornerstone of the RHEINZINK usage was 40,000 sq. ft. pf Reynobond Zinc Composite Material (ZCM) utilizing RHEINZINK Preweathered Blue-Gray. The ZCM panels were fabricated and installed by Schaffner Heaney Associates, Inc., South Bend, IN.

Infinity Meat Solutions

Infinity Meat Solutions LLC recently opened a 200,000 square foot meat-packaging facility, developed with an estimated investment of $100 million. With the majority of the facility being earmarked for cold storage, Metl-Span’s insulated metal panels served as a major component of the project.

Ingram Residence

Practicality and product familiarity led an architect and his wife to choose corrugated metal panels for the exterior walls of the home they built for the view along the Mississippi River. McElroy Metal’s Multi-Cor panels, installed horizontally, provided the durability and unique aesthetic they were looking for.

Inn Of The Mountain Gods

When the Denver-based WorthGroup was selected by the Mescalero Apache Tribal Council to provide architectural and design services on its new Inn of the Mountain Gods resort and casino, the tribe requested that the new complex blend into the stunning landscape of the Sierra Blanca Mountains in central New Mexico. It was in an effort to meet that goal, while giving the tribe the best building it could that Englert Inc. standing seam metal roofing was chosen to cover the hotel.

Based in Elkhart, IN and established in 1942, INOVA Federal Credit Union serves over 42,000 members and various employees from over 500 companies. To extend its ability to serve its ever-growing customer base, the company recently opened a new branch location in nearby Granger. To create the desired look and meet significant challenges related to material availability and color options, the design team turned to Laminators Inc.

INS Bank - Brentwood Branch

INS Bank expanded its reach in Tennessee with the recent opening of another branch in Brentwood, a Nashville suburb. The new location has a strong professional appearance with the addition of VMZINC® Series Panels by Dri-Design. The design team at MJM Architects, Nashville, worked with the owner’s initial design concept for the building.

Intech Headquarters

More than 5,000 linear feet of Flex-C Arch™ and Flex-C Trac® from Flex-Ability Concepts were used to bring to life the unique architectural theory utilized in designing the interior office space for Intech’s headquarters in West Palm Beach, FL. Intech, an institutional money management firm, has taken the top two floors of the new City Place Tower. The 18-story building offers 300,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space. Intech’s 50,000 sq. ft. of space was designed by Jalali Design, Los Angeles.

Integrated Architecture

“God is in the details” is a phrase often attributed to the great modernist architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and it certainly seems to apply to a recently transformed derelict printing plant into Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Integrated Architecture’s new headquarters. Of particular note is the care installers of the building’s exterior PAC-CLAD metal cladding took in creating the structure’s bespoke corners.

Integrated Medical Systems Birmingham Operations Center

Integrated Medical Systems International (IMS) moved one of its repair facilities into a newly renovated, 55,000 square-foot operations center in Birmingham, AL. The new facility features offices, conference and training space, and space for technicians to perform lab work. Its exterior is adorned with Sunset Red and Slate Gray metal wall panels from Laminators Inc. of Hatfield, PA.

Intercontinental Hotel

SAF Metal Fabrication designed and fabricated the 5,000 sq. ft. of .125" aluminum plate wall panels that wrap the columns and beams of a monumental canopy outside the entrance to Boston's recently completed Intercontinental Hotel. The hotel was designed by Elkus Manfredi Architects of Boston, and the panels, which feature a custom Atlantic Silver PDVF paint finish by PPG, were installed by Karas & Karas Glass of South Boston.

International Business Park XV

Sited for maximum visibility from the North Texas Tollway and George W. Bush Turnpike, the $30 million International Business Park XV opened to corporate tenants in January 2009. NOW Specialties of Carrollton, TX, fabricated and installed the project’s 2,000 sq. ft. of Reynobond Aluminum Composite Material, featuring a 4mm PE core and a Champagne Metallic paint finish, and 8,500 sq. ft. of Reynobond Natural Brushed Aluminum ACM, featuring a 4 mm PE core and a #4 polished finish, for the entrance rotunda.

International Gem Tower

Brilliant splendor describes New York’s newest skyscraper, the 34-story International Gem Tower, which opened mid-2013 on West 47th Street in the heart of the Diamond District. Inspired by its setting and diamonds themselves, the building’s design features angular geometry and a faceted exterior rendered in stainless steel supplied by Contrarian Metal Resources of Allison Park, PA.
