With the well-known retailer's new store sitting at the base of the Holland Tunnel--a spot where more than 100,000 cars pass daily--there was a desire to give the two-story parking structure attached to Home Depot's new Jersey City, NJ location a visually appealing, yet equally durable exterior. This led to the specification of a Parkade™ metal fabric application from Cambridge Architectural, featuring 14,700 sq. ft. of the company's Mid-Balance fabric and Eclipse™ attachment hardware. The store and parking deck were designed by SBLM Architects, New York City, NY.
