Proud Green Home At Serenbe

Proud Green Home at Serenbe is a new Net-Zero energy prototype home outside of Atlanta, Georgia that features Metal Sales™ roof and wall panels. The home opened its doors to the public in August of 2013 to educate and inspire people to create their own sustainable homes.

Provo Power

J & M Steel Solutions, a Nucor Building Systems Authorized Builder, earned the 2017 Building of the Year honor from the Metal Building Contractors & Erectors Association for their work on the Provo Power project in Sandy, Utah. The project is comprised of a 17,500 sq. ft. pre-engineered Nucor building used as a maintenance facility attached to a structural steel building serving as administrative offices.

Pterodactyl

Designed by Eric Owen Moss Architects, the 16,663 sq. ft. Pterodactyl office building in Culver City, CA is as unique as they come. Perched atop a four-story parking garage, the project 17 years in the making is comprised of a series of zinc-skinned boxes arrayed in a seemingly random pattern. The cladding material for the boxes—nine in all—was RHEINZINK titanium zinc by RHEINZINK America Inc.

Public Storage - Fort Worth, TX

Sometimes the best design option is a simple approach that takes a product for what it is. In Fort Worth, Texas, Public Storage opened a new branch off I-35W. To stand out in an industrial park and make a statement from the interstate, The EN-V Collection powered by Dri-Design was selected to clad the building.

Puesta Del Sol

The mountain views from the Puesta Del Sol residence in Avon, CO are rivaled only by the striking architecture of the home that faces Beaver Creek ski area. Designed for a creative couple that loved and demanded the highest quality in all aspects of amenities and materials, the 8,500 sq. ft. home revolves around three long gabled forms topped with RHEINZINK prePATINA blue-grey Double Lock Standing Seam Panels.

Pulhof Castle

The restoration of historical structures is highly specialized work and requires an expertise very few companies possess. But when the right team is assembled, the results are magnificent. Case in point is Pulhof Castle in Wijnegem, Belgium. With the involvement of VMZINC®-US, the castle's original structure and appearance were preserved, while the castle itself was transformed into an accessible public place.

Pulichino Tong Business Center - University Of Massachusetts Lowell

The Pulichino Tong Business Center was designed to be the crown jewel of University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Manning School of Business and stands as the face of the North Campus Innovation District on University Avenue. Insulated metal panels from CENTRIA helped to achieve that goal.

Queen Mary Bio Enterprises Innovation Centre

James & Taylor has helped craft a façade that enhances the historical setting of what is thought to be London’s most important new technology innovation building – using Eyetech expanded mesh made from a specially selected brass that gradually weathers to a subtle palette of autumnal hues. The façade provides both rainscreen protection and solar shading.

Queenston Plaza U.S./Canadian Border Crossing

In the post-9/11 era, border crossings have changed dramatically. The outdated 1960’s plaza infrastructure at the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge across the Niagara Gorge, one of Canada’s busiest border crossings, had far outlived its effectiveness. Charged with creating a new crossing complex–at a cost of approximately $30 million–was Moriyama & Teshima Architects, Toronto. Among the low-maintenance, environmentally friendly products it chose as claddings for the new administration building and portions of the new toll plazas was RHEINZINK® Graphite Gray zinc.

Quincy High School

Surrounded by the rural fields of Quincy, WA, the new Quincy High School showcases how technology and agriculture merge. One way the team at NAC Architecture, Seattle, accomplished this was by selecting EN-V Metal Wall Panels from Dri-Design because metal is a common building material in the rural landscape.

Quora Education Center

The new Quora Education Center in Little Canada, Minn., celebrated its grand opening in August 2018 as the latest educational facility in Minnesota's Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate School District designed specifically to address the sensory needs of students receiving special education services. Aluminum composite material (ACM) cladding from 3A Composites USA was utilized in the design.

Art, music and fashion serve as inspirations for the new Radisson RED lifestyle select brand developed by the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, which opened its first U.S. location in Minneapolis in November 2016 as the brand’s first new build and prototype design. The facility is designed to handle assembly, distribution, transloading and load securement for Rail Delivery Services’ clients.

Rainmaker Buffet

Festival Buffet at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn., temporarily closed its door in November 2018 for a complete renovation and rebranding. To create a flowing space that would direct customers through what is now called Rainmaker Buffet, JCJ Architecture filled the interior with curves. The soffit curves were created with Flex-C Arch and Flex-C Trac by Flex-Ability Concepts.

Raleigh Iron Works

One of the recent draws to North Carolina's Research Triangle is capitalizing on architecture from the area’s history. The Raleigh Iron Works, a remake of an old iron foundry district, opened in 2023 to resounding success. Its design, not surprisingly, leans heavily on its past, making ample use of architectural metal roof and wall panels from Petersen to emphasize its industrial history.

Since 1938, the Raleigh-Durham (RDU) Airport Authority has played a central role in the growth of the Research Triangle Region. RDU celebrated Terminal 1’s reopening in 2014, following a major modernization project featuring CENTRIA’s metal wall panel products.
