Owego Elementary School

Owego Elementary School is a part of the Owego Apalachin Central School District, which serves 2,125 students in Owego, New York. In 2011, the school was irreversibly damaged by a flood, calling for reconstruction that began in 2014. The new, larger facility - featuring a range of products from CENTRIA - sports more durability and sustainability features than its predecessor.

Owensboro Medical Health Cener

Although the Owensboro, KY metro area includes only 110,000 people, the population is now served by a new 780,000 sq. ft. replacement hospital that larger cities would be envious of. Located on a 145-acre site, the Owensboro Medical Health Center transforms healthcare delivery through a flexible design that accommodates streamlined processes, new technology and future growth. Featured on its exterior are insulated metal panels from Lewisville, TX-based Metl-Span.

Owensboro-Daviess Convention Center

Completed in early 2014, the new Owensboro-Daviess Convention Center is a premier meeting and event venue not only for Owensboro and Daviess County, but for all of western Kentucky. The project is contemporary in design and features on its exterior an anodized aluminum panel rainscreen cladding system engineered and fabricated by MetalTech-USA. The Class I anodized aluminum finish was from Lorin Industries.

Oxbow Public Market

Showcasing an impressive mix of aesthetics, functional layout, natural lighting and ventilation is the Oxbow Public Market - a specialty food and wine store in Napa, California. The market's enticing, yet functional layout was achieved through the use of a 19,815 square foot pre-engineered metal building system by Metallic Building Company, topped off by IPS RWP 250 insulated metal roof panels.

Oxford Pallet

Oxford Pallet of Norwich, Ontario is efficient to the point that they repair pallets and recycle pallets that are not reparable. When looking to expand with a new assembly facility and a new grinding building, the hope was to erect energy efficient buildings. Insulated metal panels from Metl-Span quickly became a selling point for Brouwer Construction, an authorized Nucor Building Systems dealer, of St. Catharine’s, Ontario.

Ozarks TCC Life Science Technology Center

The new Life Science Technology Center at Ozarks Technical Community College—South Campus in Ozark, MO had specific design requirements and specific budget limitations too. Among the products utilized on the exterior of the building to give it a high-tech look at an affordable price were Envelope 2000® metal composite material wall panels. Manufactured by Citadel Architectural Products Inc. of Indianapolis, IN, and featuring a Desert Sand paint finish, the panels were installed using Citadel's progressive Reveal System attachment method.

Pacific Medical Center

As a groundbreaking new structure in Costa Mesa, CA, Pacific Medical Center’s unique metal and glass facade sets the building apart from others in the area. Metal wall systems from Kingspan Insulated Panels and Kingspan Morin helped contribute to the new building’s desired aesthetic and were selected for their energy-saving qualities.

Pacific Plaza

The Pacific Plaza building in downtown Tacoma, WA was once a four-story, decades-old, crumbling parking garage. Now, the striking new six-story structure is state-of-the-art and Washington’s only LEED Platinum core and shell construction project. Featured on the exterior of the $35 million, 250,000 sq. ft. project are insulated metal wall panels from Metl-Span.

Painted Rock Estate Winery

The Painted Rock Estate Winery, overlooking the eastern shore of Skaha Lake in Penticton, British Columbia, has added the new 1,600 sq. ft. one-story Painted Rock Estate Winery Tasting Room, which opened in September 2013. The facility's exterior walls features aluminum composite material from 3A Composites USA.

Palliser South Parking Structure

Renowned for its mesh exteriors on newly constructed parking structures throughout the United States and Canada, Cambridge Architectural has developed its very first metal fabric system for an existing parking structure. Distinct segments of mesh dramatically and creatively bring elegant texture to the parking garage serving the Palliser South Professional Building and Office Tower in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Palm Beach Gardens Operations Center

Design-build projects for the public sector always come with specific requirements with little room for flexibility. The City of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, wanted its new Operations Center to meet the requirements of LEED Silver certification, look great and be designed to withstand 205 mph ultimate wind speeds, all while staying within a strict budget. The choice of insulated metal panels (IMPs) from Metl-Span helped meet those goals.

Palmdale Center

Antelope Valley College focused on its future with a retrofit project that created the Palmdale Center in Palmdale, Calif. With the project, the college now has a self-contained satellite campus that once was an existing grocery store with an attached medical office building. Dri-Design Tapered Series wall panels were selected to set the campus apart from the surrounding buildings.

Palmer Bank

Located on a high-traffic, signature intersection in Taylorville, IL, Palmer Bank sought a timeless design that would visually represent its strength and stability to the community. Approximately 12,000 sq. ft. of 24 gauge, 16” Petersen Snap-Clad panels and 2,200 sq. ft. of PAC-850 Soffit Panels were utilized to meet the design objectives. Design for the design/build project was provided by The Redmond Company, Waukesha, WI.

Palmetto Bluff Resort

The expanded Palmetto Bluff Resort in Bluffton, S.C., now boasts a new 74-room inn complete with extensive high-end amenities and a PAC-CLAD Snap-Clad roof from Petersen finished in custom color Patrician Bronze. Approximately 75,000 sq. ft. of the 24 gauge Galvalume panels were installed on a tight deadline.

Pan Pacific Cement

Five buildings, totaling approximately 90,000 sq. ft., make up the Pan Pacific Cement facility at the Port Of Sacramento in West Sacramento, CA. VP Buildings supplied the metal buildings that were used for this impressive complex that was completed on a fast track schedule and called for a 200’ clearspan in the main building.

Panda Express - East Market Street

This is not the first time East Market Street in Philadelphia has seen revitalization. The former Mallas Building, constructed in the 19th century, sat among many mixed-use structures in the area in need of improvements and new tenants. As Panda Express prepared to move into the building, a facelift was needed. The installation of Dri-Design with Perforated Imaging panels brings a sense of art and style to a bustling Philadelphia corner.

Parallel Products Recycling Facility

Industrial recycling services provider Parallel Products is in the business of helping other companies be more green. But it has green goals of its own, and the addition of a 1.9 MW rooftop solar array on a newly constructed bottle recycling facility in New Bedford, MA, helps in that regard. The solar panels are arrayed on more than 150,000 sq. ft. of standing seam metal roofing, attached with PV attachment products from Colorado-based S-5!.

Parc Haven Apartments

A new 290-unit apartment building in Las Vegas, called Parc Haven Apartments, features industrial-style metal cladding from Petersen that references the train tracks it adjoins, along with colorful metal panel highlights that nod to Symphony Park’s signature sculpture sited directly across the street.

Pardon Bosworth 1879 House

Don Bruen of Pride Roofing in Providence, RI, was approached by homeowners who had a home built in 1879 by Pardon Bosworth. Concerned with rising energy costs, green house gas emissions, and the state of the environment, the owners of the Italianate style home wanted to reroof their home with a product that addressed these concerns, and integrated a solar heating system that would preserve the century-old appeal of the home. Emulating wood shakes, and able to be install on battens, DECRA Shake stone coated steel roofing was chosen for the project.
