Olume

A big compliment to architects is hearing that one of their building designs has become a recognizable landmark. That’s the case for architects at the Los Angeles office of Arquitectonica International Corp. who designed the Olume residential building in San Francisco’s Mission District featuring custom earth-toned colors of aluminum composite material by 3A Composites USA.

Omega Yeast

A Chicago company is helping craft and home brewers lean into their creativity with yeast strains coming from all around the globe. Omega Yeast's success has led to growth – and a new headquarters and production facility on the city’s Northwest side. Its clean-lined exterior design is emphasized through the use of architectural metal wall panels from Petersen to delineate the interior space dedicated to labs and production.

One Dalton Place

PPG Duranar™ XL and PPG Duracron™ coatings were used on One Dalton Place, a new 61-story skyscraper located in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. It was designed by Henry Cobb of Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and Gary Johnson of Cambridge Seven.

One Henry Adams

Amid the century-old brick and timber structures that make up San Francisco's Design District/Showplace Square is One Henry Adams, a two-building residential development designed to blend in and stand out at the same time. Part of the mix of materials utilized by BAR Architects to create the project's clean, simple look were products from Morin, a Kingspan Group Company.

One Hundred Oaks Mall

The 40-year-old One Hundred Oaks Mall in Nashville has undergone a major transformation to become a significant mixed-use development with the major tenant being Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Playing a role in the shopping center's modernization was a Dri-Design dry-joint, pressure-equalized rainscreen wall system. The system's 40,000 sq. ft. of panels were formed from .080" aluminum and feature a Dove Gray paint finish. The exterior façade of the 880,000 sq. ft. mall was originally brick, precast and EIFS.

One Lincoln Park

Located in Denver, CO, the One Lincoln Park project utilized 70,000 sq. ft. of cold-formed steel panelized wall systems that utilized Unistak™ (Patent Pending) interlocking stacking track. The 34-story project, which was completed in September 2008, also features CENTRIA Dimension Series 2” Insulated Panels and custom Kawneer 2250 IG Window Framing. The facility, a multi-purpose high-end condominium project with retail stores on the ground level, was designed by BYG Architects, Denver, CO.

Oprah Winfrey Boys & Girls Club

With a Viking-equipped kitchen and a 91' tile mosaic of the club's name near the entrance, the Oprah Winfrey Boys & Girls Club in Kosciusko, MS, is anything but run-of-the-mill. That goes for the materials used for its construction too. In combination with brick, the building features Englert Inc. metal wall panels, soffit panels and standing seam metal roofing panels.

Opus One Winery Workshop

The founding of the Opus One winery in California's Napa Valley in 1979 brought together two of the top names in winemaking, one from the Old World wine establishment in Europe and one from the New World winemaking industry in the United States. The design of the winery's new equipment shop reflects a balance too, where function on the one hand is countered by form on the other. Fortunately, the bifold and hydraulic doors specified for the state-of-the-art facility satisfied both desires. They were manufactured by Schweiss Doors of Hector, MN.

Central Oregon Garage Door Company specializes in unique door solutions, but with the help of Schweiss Doors, the Bend, OR company outdid itself with its installation of a cedar-clad hydraulic door on a vacation log cabin home in Oregon.

Orem YMCA

A key component of the new Orem YMCA facility in Houston, TX is the outdoor play area and swimming pool. Approximately 2,000 sq. ft. of RHEINZINK® Preweathered Blue-Gray perforated, corrugated fence panels were used to provide security for members as well as durability and aesthetic appeal for the neighborhood facility. Design for the 25,000 sq. ft. YMCA was provided by Brave Architecture, Houston. The design concept was new for Y facilities, according to Greg Ryden, project manager.

Oren Gateway Center

Located on the campus of Augsburg College in the heart of Minneapolis, MN, Oren Gateway Center is a building of many purposes. In addition to providing trendy loft-style housing for more than 100 students, the 118,000 sq. ft. structure is a campus gathering spot where students study, eat, meet and learn. The building was designed by BWBR Architects of St. Paul, MN. For its exterior the firm used a blend of glass and metal in the form of aluminum composite panels, flat seam wall panels and perforated screenwalls, all fabricated and installed by M.G. McGrath Inc. of Maplewood, MN.

Orioles Park At Camden Yards - Upgrades

2012 marked the 20th anniversary of Orioles Park at Camden Yards and the Baltimore Orioles had a newly upgraded ballpark to mark the historic occasion thanks to MetFab, a Drexel Metals Company. Camden Yards used to be the railroad center of Baltimore, Maryland and has since transformed into a beautiful baseball facility where families can go to on summer afternoons to watch the Orioles play ball.

OTTO Brewerytown

OTTO Brewerytown is a two-building, two-phase project, with a total of 52 high-end, high-tech condo units. It is located in a rapidly developing neighborhood, just five minutes to Philadelphia’s Center City. ATAS International's custom Grand C panels in three colors - Patina Green, Silversmith and Brilliant Green - in .032 aluminum, and Versa-Seam panels - in Silversmith - in .040 aluminum, were used to create an eye-catching design for the building’s exterior.

Our Lady Queen Of Peace Catholic Church Worship Center

Situated in Wichita Falls, Texas, the new Our Lady Queen Of Peace Catholic Church Worship Center features metal building systems and related products by Varco Pruden Buildings, a division of BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. Completed in July 2009, the 21,890 sq. ft. worship center utilizes Rigid Frame and Continuous Beam framing systems. The unique center section of the structure features four gables and valleys, allowing for four wings that give the overall building a cross configuration.
