The Perrault Farms Harvesting hops processing facility in Toppenish, WA, is made up of four buildings supplied by Star Building Systems, totaling just under 60,000 sq. ft. Star’s DoubleLok standing seam profile in Light Stone color was used on the roof, while Star’s Desert Sand PBR panels were used on the walls, installed above exposed aggregate concrete tilt-up wainscot panels.

Sustainability with the anticipation of growth was the reason behind the newly-constructed La Joya ISD Child Nutrition Center and Police Station in La Joya, Texas. Insulated metal panels from MBCI are featured on the new complex.

Distinctive, awesome and bold. That was the design goal for the new corporate campus of Adobe in Lehi, Utah. The 680,000-square-foot campus is located directly off a major highway, putting the headquarters on display with the Traverse Mountains serving as a stunning backdrop. There's something decidedly European and unmistakably exotic about the design of the new Fox Vakanties headquarters. Given the structure is located in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands and is home to a Dutch company that specializes in booking exotic vacations, neither should come as a surprise. What might raise eyebrows is that the unique building, clad in part with RHEINZINK prePATINA graphite-grey angled standing seam reveal panels, was actually designed by an architectural firm headquartered in the United States.

PNC Field, home to the AAA Scranton-Wilkes Barre Yankees baseball team, underwent a $40 million upgrade that resulted in a completely renovated facility that was ready for the 2013 season. General Industries, a commercial construction and real estate company based in Charleroi, Pa., has renovated a portion of Aquatech International Corporation’s headquarters in Canonsburg, Pa., utilizing metal systems from Varco Pruden Buildings.

Converting a casino into a public safety administration building requires some imagination. More than 90,000 square feet of insulated metal panels from Metl-Span® assisted with the transition and helped the Detroit Public Safety Headquarters become the city’s first facility to achieve LEED®-certified status.

Eastern Corporation, an Architectural Metal Systems (AMS) authorized Roofer, developed a new 17,243-square-foot research and media facility for Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City, Alabama. The new building is a two-story facility, which replaced the school’s library built in the late 1960s.

The unique and attractive Fort Hill Brewery totals over 9,400 sq. ft. and is comprised of six buildings. Featuring metal products from Star Building Systems, the project, which is located in Easthampton, MA, utilized Star’s DoubleLok roof panels in Medium Bronze and Colonial Red PBR panels on the walls which are complemented by a brick façade which was installed at the front entrance. The metal building provided the required clearance for brewery operations and the barn-like look the owner wanted.

Owned by the Brazilian government and inaugurated in 1973, the stadium was revamped for soccer’s 2014 World Cup.

Construction of the new Beverly Farms Elementary School in Potomac, MD was part of Montgomery County Public Schools’ on-going revitalization/expansion program. Following a feasibility study, it was determined that demolition of the existing building and construction of a new school was the most cost effective approach. The $30-million Kroc Community Center in Dayton, OH is designed to provide recreational, spiritual, educational and cultural arts programs to people of all ages in an underserved community. CENTRIA products played a significant role in the facility’s design.

Owners of multi-tenant properties can look to Longwater Place, Norwell, MA, and the application of the Shadow Series from Dri-Design for inspiration on how to designate specific rental spaces while inviting customers inside. The Dri-Design Wall Panel System created a lively and interactive exterior for the original building and an office addition.

The Niles North Aquatics Center, home to a year-round competitive swim program hosted by the local school district, Illinois Swimming and USA Swimming, features a new two-story addition and competition pool, in Skokie, Illinois. KJWW Engineering Consultants worked with Vulcraft Group, supplier of steel joists, steel joist girders and steel decking, to complete the project.
