Kendall Toyota

A pre-approved manufacturer of products for Toyota’s Image USA branding program, VICWEST had the distinction of providing aluminum composite wall panels for North America’s first LEED Platinum-rated automobile dealership. The 59,000 sq. ft. dealership is located in Eugene, OR.

Kendall-Jackson Wine Storage Facility

Jackson Family Wines (JFW) was looking to expand, and a new wine storage building at the company's Kendall-Jackson Winery in Fulton, CA would unlock the growth opportunities sought. When the time came to build, JFW chose a metal building contractor with expertise in wine storage structures and a good understanding of the benefits insulated metal panel systems from Kingspan Insulated Panels would bring to the project.

Kendyl Depoali Middle School

The new Kendyl Depoali Middle School in Reno, NV serves as a prototype for future middle schools in the Washoe County School District. Named after an extraordinary educator and fourth generation Nevadan, the $37 million facility provides 198,000 sq. ft. of educational and administrative space in a multi-building campus environment. Featured prominently in the school's design are SinoCore® field-assembled metal wall panels from Citadel Architectural Products.

Kennedy Space Center Orbiter Building

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the new $100 million home of the priceless, historic Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit which tells the story of NASA’s 30-year space shuttle program. The Atlantis exhibit is the marquee element of the Visitor Complex’s 10-year master construction plan. Architectural metal products from CENTRIA played a key role in the design of the Titusville, FL complex.

Kenneth C. Rowe Management Building

RCA Metal Inc., A VICWEST Company located in Memramcook, New Brunswick, Canada, fabricated the nearly 6,000 sq. ft. of architectural panels specified as part of the design of the Kenneth C. Rowe Management Building in Halifax, Novia Scotia, Canada. The panels were fabricated from ALPOLIC aluminum composite material, which is produced by Mitsubishi Chemical FP America Inc.

Kent Police Station

Kettle Cuisine Plant

CMC Design Build of Quincy, Mass., has focused its efforts on serving the food and beverage industry, providing “the greatest levels of efficiency and effectiveness with every project.” Most of the time, CMC specifies metal wall panels from Metl-Span for those projects, including the new Kettle Cuisine plant in Lynn, Mass.

Kewley Residence

Mark Kewley designed his 2,750 sq. ft. house in Portland, Ore., to be a modern creation. He wanted the four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom layout to have clean lines, while emphasizing livability with sustainable materials incorporated throughout. Metal wall panels played a key role in bringing clean lines to the home, as Kewley used them to create an accent band around the house. Metafor (MFP120) wall panels from ATAS International Inc., Allentown, Pa., were selected.

Key Biscayne House

Key Biscayne House is a $5 million, 10,000 sq. ft. home on Biscayne Bay in Key Biscayne, FL. It was designed by Village Architects Inc. in the Florida vernacular and with a Mediterranean influence. In addition to graceful masonry and stucco, its exterior is adorned with an Englert standing seam metal roof. The panels were formed by Met Roofing of Miami.

K-Flex USA Expansion

In October 2016, K-Flex USA of Youngsville, N.C., contracted with Focus Design Builders of Wake Forest, N.C., MB Erectors of Millbrook, Ala., SNW Steel Services of Ringgold, Va., and Architect McGahey Design of Garner, N.C., to expand their facility. The project was completed in July 2017 with the help of products from Ceco Building Systems.

Kilcoyne Home

If anyone has been presented with the opportunity to learn about the benefits of metal roofing, it’s Claire Kilcoyne. Kilcoyne is the Vice President of Trade Shows at METALCON and is getting everything ready for her 25th annual show in Tampa, Fla. When she noticed her home in Westborough, MA was in need of a new roof, she mentioned it in a newsletter to metal roofing manufacturers and suppliers who exhibit at her show. Answering the call was Brian Partyka, Executive Vice President of Business Development at Drexel Metals.

Killeen Police Headquarters

The new 80,000 sq. ft. police headquarters in Killeen, TX enables the city to consolidate operations from four scattered buildings into one location. The $22 million facility more than doubles the department’s previous space and includes training areas, community rooms, and office and administrative space. Designed to complement the rural setting, building materials include metal panels from Petersen.

Kimbrough Animal Hospital

The new Kimbrough Animal Hospital in Longview, Texas, was born of tragedy. A fire in the hospital’s previous building destroyed that structure. In the plans to rebuild, the owner wanted the highest level of fire protection, along with a design that reflected the area’s agricultural heritage and the journey he’d taken to create a new facility from the ashes of the old. Metal roof and wall panels from Petersen helped with both goals.

King’s Daughters Medical Office Building

King’s Daughters Medical Specialties - Portsmouth is a unique addition to the Portsmouth, Ohio, community. It brings a variety of medical specialists to downtown Portsmouth, with an emphasis on the region’s number one health problem: heart and vascular disease. There are three physician offices in the building: one for family care, and two others dedicated to cardiology. The project features CENTRIA’s Formawall® Graphix Series™. Graphix Series makes multi-panel designs become real within a single wall panel that is made to look like 12 smaller panels.

Knox College Academic Art Building

The Knox College Academic Art Building features 29,950 sq. ft. of space situated on two floors for the studio and art history departments. Situated at the northern edge of the campus and configured around a new plaza, the building develops a new connection between central campus and downtown Galesburg, IL. Metal systems from Star Building Systems figured prominently in the facility's construction.

Kosair Children’s Medical Center

The Kosair Children’s Medical Center in Brownsboro, KY is designed to bring a specialized level of care to children in the Louisville metropolitan area and surrounding region. To help give the building a kid-friendly look, Laughlin Millea Hillman Architecture of Louisville, KY, utilized a colorful Dri-Design rainscreen metal wall system on the hospital’s exterior. Featuring dry joints and 080”-thick panels painted Berkshire Blue, the pressure equalized assembly covers approximately 7,500 sq. ft. of wall area.

The owner of Kossen Equipment wanted a majestic building to serve as the company’s headquarters in Richland, MS. Playing a key role in the creation of that facility was Continuous Beam framing from Varco Pruden Buildings.

Krispy Kreme - Victorville, CA

The first Krispy Kreme retail store opened in Greensboro, NC in the late 1980s. The company has since grown to over 1,000 locations, with the Victorville, CA store ranking among the newest. For that location Architectural Building Products in Buffalo, NY provided approximately 2,800 sq ft of Omega-Lite® ACM panels in Brite Red and Forest Green. Omega-Lite® is a product of Laminators Incorporated of Hatfield, PA.
