Liberty Self Storage

For the recent solar conversion of its facility in Covington, LA, Liberty Self Storage wanted to express its patriotism and love of country by having the new rooftop solar array configured in the form of an American flag. With the help of The Next Energy Technology company of Kenner, LA, and solar panel attachment products from Colorado-based S-5!, the design intent was achieved in the best possible way.

Liberty University Football Practice Facility

The Liberty University athletic staff and student-athletes had a great deal to celebrate at the ribbon-cutting ceremony of their spacious new Indoor Football Practice Facility in August 2017. The $29 million, 95,000-square-foot structure, featuring insulated metal panels (IMPs) from Metl-Span, represents a substantial recruitment tool and a commitment to the success of the Lynchburg, Va.-based university football program.

Life Church - Oklahoma City

Life Church is an evangelical church with 15 locations throughout five states. An integral part of the interior design of each location is the “wave wall” which adds color and vibrancy to the community areas. Approximately 470 linear feet of Flex-C Arch by Flex-Ability Concepts was used for the latest installation at the Life Church in Oklahoma City, OK.

Life Flight Network Hangar - Lewiston, ID

Life Flight Network provides life-saving transport to seriously ill or injured patients from the scene of an emergency or from one hospital to another. The medical service operates across the Northwest and Intermountain West, including from a hangar at the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport in Lewiston, Idaho. Helping get the life-saving craft in and out dependably is a 70'-wide bifold hangar door from Schweiss Doors.

The self-storage sector across the nation has been growing for years. More than 20% of Americans currently use self-storage, and another 15% say they intend to do so in the future. With this growth comes new facilities, many like Life Storage in Orlando, FL. Its vibrant, upscale image was achieved with the help of insulated metal wall panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels - North America.

Lifeguard Arena

The American Hockey League's Henderson Silver Knights team has a new practice facility in downtown Henderson, Nevada to go with a new home game facility. Called Lifeguard Arena, the structure features a dynamic façade design that makes good use of the bold imagery that metal panels from Petersen's PAC-CLAD line can bring to building exteriors.

Lightbox Dance Studio

With the mountains as its backdrop, Lightbox Dance Studio in Kaysville, UT, was designed to harmonize with the rustic setting. The 17,150 sq. ft. facility was constructed with metal systems from Varco Pruden Buildings.

Lilburn Library & City Hall

When officials in Lilburn, Ga., planned the new double-duty library and city hall building, the vision called for interior spaces that provided ease of access and circulation within the structure, with a shared lobby space on the first and second floor. On the exterior, steep-slope roof elements draw attention to certain building functions and entry locations, and metal roof panels by Petersen accentuate these spaces.

Limetree Beach Club

Hurricanes devastated properties across the U.S. Virgin Islands in 2017, including the Bluebeard Beach Club resort on St. Thomas. The destruction was seen as an opportunity to rebuild better and rebrand the development. The renamed Limetree Beach Club has since reopened, with new amenities and upgraded PAC-CLAD Tite-Loc Plus metal roof panels from Petersen featuring an Interstate Blue finish.

Limmat Tower

The 262-foot Limmat Tower is regarded as the centerpiece of one of Dietikon, Switzerland’s newer districts, Limmatfeld. At its impressive height, the structure towers high above the district, making it Rapidplatz square’s most recognizable feature. The aluminum composite material used on the building’s exterior façade features coatings from Beckers.

Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School Alumni Hall

The Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, PA has made a significant addition to its campus with the construction of the new Alumni Hall. The 29,000 sq. ft. facility includes state-of-the-art music and multi-media rooms plus a dining hall large enough to accommodate the school’s 600-plus enrollment in two shifts. Playing a major role in the addition’s modern look was Citadel Architectural Products. Approximately 15,500 sq. ft. of the company’s Envelope 2000® metal composite panels are utilized on the project.

Lindsay High School

When Lindsay, Texas fell victim to major hail storms in 2011 and 2012, the high school’s existing metal roof was damaged by golf ball size hail. The solution to the severe cosmetic damage was a metal-over-metal recover with the help of Roof Hugger retrofit sub-framing.

Lin's Asian Buffet

The ornate design of the new Lin’s Asian Buffet in Oklahoma City, OK, relies heavily on complex radius theme elements utilizing approximately 1,200 feet of Flex-C Trac® and Flex-C Arch flexible framing products from Flex-Ability Concepts. Elaborate arches and circular ceiling applications are a trademark interior look for the Texas-based chain of restaurants. Flex-C Trac was also used to frame the curved exterior roof edges that helped create a pagoda-like appearance.

Lisega Inc.

Lisega’s mixed-use U.S. operations center in Kodak, TN features more 100,000 square feet of office, manufacturing and storage facilities wrapped in an ultra-modern insulated metal panel building envelope by Metl-Span. When the facility underwent a major expansion in 2016, Lisega turned once again to Metl-Span and NCI Building Systems for the seamless integration of old and new, and the best in performance, aesthetics and value.

Litchfield Water Treatment Plant

Totaling 20,293 square feet, the Lichtfield Water Treatment Plant in Lichtfield, IL features a metal building system from Star Building Systems, as well as MBCI’s BattenLok HS roof system along with MBCI’s NuWall and PBU wall systems. Completed in December 2008, this structure also incorporated conventional construction.

Little League Southeast Regional Headquarters And Stadium

The new Little League Southeast Regional Headquarters and Stadium in Warner-Robins, GA is a $5.5 million facility that serves as the administrative office for Little League baseball and softball activities in seven Southeast states. The complex is located on a 26-acre site and includes a 3,500-seat tournament stadium and 10,400 sq. ft. administration building. The facility sports nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of PAC-CLAD® material from Petersen.

LIVESTRONG Sporting Park

The new $200-million LIVESTRONG Sporting Park opened in June 2011 in Kansas City, Kan., as home to the Sporting Kansas City Major League Soccer (MLS) team. This 340,000 square-foot stadium situated on a 14-acre site features 18,500 seats and includes 36 luxury suites and five clubs. Alucobond® Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) by 3A Composites USA was installed as building cladding throughout the stadium on both the building’s exterior and interior concourse.

Living Hope Church

Utilizing Rigid Frame and Continuous Beam systems from Varco Pruden Buildings, Living Hope Church in Middletown, PA was completed in May 2017 by Arthur Funk & Sons Inc. Construction Services of Lebanon, PA. The 24,769 sq. ft. church was designed by Cornerstone Design Architects of Lancaster, PA.
