Lincoln Park Centre, a 61,000 sq. ft. shopping center on Chicago’s north side, has undergone the kind of major changes in just a few short years that have made it a real-estate investment company’s dream venture. The project features aluminum composite material cladding from 3A Composites USA.

Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School Alumni Hall

The Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, PA has made a significant addition to its campus with the construction of the new Alumni Hall. The 29,000 sq. ft. facility includes state-of-the-art music and multi-media rooms plus a dining hall large enough to accommodate the school’s 600-plus enrollment in two shifts. Playing a major role in the addition’s modern look was Citadel Architectural Products. Approximately 15,500 sq. ft. of the company’s Envelope 2000® metal composite panels are utilized on the project.

Lindsay High School

When Lindsay, Texas fell victim to major hail storms in 2011 and 2012, the high school’s existing metal roof was damaged by golf ball size hail. The solution to the severe cosmetic damage was a metal-over-metal recover with the help of Roof Hugger retrofit sub-framing.

Lin's Asian Buffet

The ornate design of the new Lin’s Asian Buffet in Oklahoma City, OK, relies heavily on complex radius theme elements utilizing approximately 1,200 feet of Flex-C Trac® and Flex-C Arch flexible framing products from Flex-Ability Concepts. Elaborate arches and circular ceiling applications are a trademark interior look for the Texas-based chain of restaurants. Flex-C Trac was also used to frame the curved exterior roof edges that helped create a pagoda-like appearance.

Lisega Inc.

Lisega’s mixed-use U.S. operations center in Kodak, TN features more 100,000 square feet of office, manufacturing and storage facilities wrapped in an ultra-modern insulated metal panel building envelope by Metl-Span. When the facility underwent a major expansion in 2016, Lisega turned once again to Metl-Span and NCI Building Systems for the seamless integration of old and new, and the best in performance, aesthetics and value.

Litchfield Water Treatment Plant

Totaling 20,293 square feet, the Lichtfield Water Treatment Plant in Lichtfield, IL features a metal building system from Star Building Systems, as well as MBCI’s BattenLok HS roof system along with MBCI’s NuWall and PBU wall systems. Completed in December 2008, this structure also incorporated conventional construction.

Little League Southeast Regional Headquarters And Stadium

The new Little League Southeast Regional Headquarters and Stadium in Warner-Robins, GA is a $5.5 million facility that serves as the administrative office for Little League baseball and softball activities in seven Southeast states. The complex is located on a 26-acre site and includes a 3,500-seat tournament stadium and 10,400 sq. ft. administration building. The facility sports nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of PAC-CLAD® material from Petersen.

LIVESTRONG Sporting Park

The new $200-million LIVESTRONG Sporting Park opened in June 2011 in Kansas City, Kan., as home to the Sporting Kansas City Major League Soccer (MLS) team. This 340,000 square-foot stadium situated on a 14-acre site features 18,500 seats and includes 36 luxury suites and five clubs. Alucobond® Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) by 3A Composites USA was installed as building cladding throughout the stadium on both the building’s exterior and interior concourse.

Living Hope Church

Utilizing Rigid Frame and Continuous Beam systems from Varco Pruden Buildings, Living Hope Church in Middletown, PA was completed in May 2017 by Arthur Funk & Sons Inc. Construction Services of Lebanon, PA. The 24,769 sq. ft. church was designed by Cornerstone Design Architects of Lancaster, PA.

Living Word Community Church

The multi-level curved Field-Lok and sloping Dutch Seam metal roofing panels, installed on the Living Word Community Church in Red Lion, PA, caught the judges’ eyes. This resulted in first place for the category of commercial roofs in ATAS International’s project of the year awards for 2018.

LivN Nsidout Sport & Wellness Center

Reflective of the business' professional approach to health and well being, the exterior of the LivN Nsidout Sport & Wellness Center in Simpsonville, SC, looks as much like a modern medical facility as it does a traditional health club. And part of the reason is the use of ALPOLIC aluminum composite material wall panels on its exterior. The panels were fabricated by Altech Panel Systems of Cartersville, GA. ALPOLIC ACM is manufactured by Mitsubishi Plastics Composites America Inc. of Chesapeake, VA.

Local Department Of Public Works, Southeastern Wisconsin

A local Department of Public Works (DPW) in Southeastern Wisconsin decided to construct a new field office with the purpose of combining field operations and several other departments into one large facility. Products from Wildeck, including a mezzanine system, aided in the creation of added space that was needed as a result of the consolidation.

Local Restaurant

Three sisters and a veteran local chef have combined to create one of the most ambitious restaurant projects that Oklahoma has seen in years. Located in Norman, OK and known as Local, the 10,000 sq. ft. restaurant offers a farm-to-fork concept with a unique emphasis on family dining. The facility features curves created by products from Flex-Ability Concepts.

Lodi Memorial Hospital, South Wing Extension

Since Lodi Memorial Hospital opened its doors in 1952, the hospital has evolved to meet the growing and changing needs of the community. Population growth and other factors led to the construction of a new four-story, 130,000-square-foot South Wing, offering 90 new patient beds, a new emergency department, an expanded birthing center and the latest diagnostic, imaging and medical technologies. CENTRIA products played a key part in the project.

Loewe - Valencia, Spain

Under a soft golden glow of delicately curved stainless steel mesh stands the new Loewe store in Valencia, Spain. Loewe, a luxury fashion retailer owned by LVMH Group – among whose many prestigious fashion subsidiaries include Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, and Marc Jacobs – has launched a new generation of stores for which Cambridge Architectural has provided unique floating ceiling design pieces at its flagship site.

Logan Airport Terminal E

The goal of the Logan Airport Terminal E modernization was to “create a sustainable, high-performance, resilient and resource efficient building that is a comfortable and healthy environment for passengers and workers alike.” The scope of work included the addition of four new gates, including three approved in 1995 but never constructed. For visual appeal, the terminal features 400,000 sq. ft. of aluminum composite material from Alucoil North America.

Logan High School

There’s more than one way to deliver roof panels. Morin, A Kingspan Group Company, has recently introduced an onsite roll forming process that runs panels to the eaves, where they are gathered and stacked for installation. A perfect example of the process can be seen at Logan High School in Russellville, KY.

Loma Linda University Medical Center - Murrieta

The new Loma Linda University Medical Center opened in April of 2011 as a cutting-edge, 273,207 sq. ft. facility. The building, one of the tallest buildings in Murrieta, CA’s Inland Empire, includes a 19-bed emergency room, intensive care unit, labor and delivery center and a specialty Children’s Hospital. More specifically, it includes a state-of-the-art Pediatric Heart Surgery unit to support the medical school’s focus on that specialty. CENTRIA architectural metal products played a key part in the medical center’s construction.

Historic LondonHouse in downtown Chicago underwent an extensive renovation, starting in 2013. The transformation of this luxury hotel, completed for a grand reopening in May 2016, included insulated metal panels from Metl-Span.
