Lux Row Distillers

Using Varco Pruden Buildings' Rigid Frame system, Lux Row Distillers combines eight framing shapes to bring together a 24,341 sq. ft. working distillery and visitor experience in Bardstown, Kentucky. Lux Row Distillers was selected as the Best of Agriculture & Food Processing Winner in the 2019 Varco Pruden Hall Of Fame presentation.

Lyric Opera House

The historic Lyric Opera House in Baltimore was originally constructed in 1895 as a concert hall with a traditional gable roof. Now, after a four-phase renovation and major expansion, The Lyric has become the city’s premier venue for opera and traveling Broadway shows. Playing a role in that transformation was RHEINZINK titanium-zinc cladding.

M&T Bank Stadium Enhancements

When Baltimore Ravens fans attended this year’s first home game, they were greeted by several new enhancements at M&T Bank Stadium that include a series of Cambridge Architectural metal mesh panels etched with a signature ravens wing on the building’s façade.

M.E. Yacht Restoration

M.E. Yacht Restoration of Holland, Mich., wrapped up the second phase of construction last summer, completing its new 70,000-square-foot, three-story state-of-the-art storage, restoration and office facility near Lake Michigan. The fully insulated building also features a couple of doors from Schweiss Doors.

M2 On Neil Street

M2 on Neil is a nine-story, mixed-use building. A $40 million project —the largest ever for downtown Champaign, Illinois, M2 on Neil was designed and built to revitalize the downtown area. The purpose of this project was to draw more business owners and residents downtown, returning the area to the center of city life. Products from CENTRIA played important roles in the creation of the facility.

MAAS Aviation

Mobile, AL is the site of MAAS Aviation's first U.S.-based facility, a twin-bay airplane paint shop, capable of painting two A320 Airbus planes simultaneously. The 48,309 sq. ft. hangar was built by Harrell Construction Inc. of Jacksonville, FL, using Rigid Frame and Continuous Beam framing by Varco Pruden Buildings.

Magdalena Grand Beach Resort

Location made the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort an attractive destination. But its ocean-front setting on the island of Tobago proved a double-edged sword. Salt water corrosion eventually took its toll on the Caribbean Sea resort, forcing the complex to close for two years for repairs. Among the repairs made to the property during that period was the replacement of its old roof with 160,000 sq. ft. of new Englert jobsite-rollformed metal roofing.

Maguire Aviation Hangar Charlie

Hangar Charlie represents the first step in a multi-phase master plan developed by SPF:a for Maguire Aviation. Maguire is one of five fixed base operators (FBOs) at Van Nuys Airport (VNY), the world’s busiest general aviation airport. The new hangar was constructed with a relatively standard metal building framing system from Butler Manufacturing Co., Kansas City, MO, and was topped with the manufacturer’s standing seam metal roofing. The hangar also features metal wall panels by Metal Sales Manufacturing Corp. of Louisville, KY; and hangar doors by Wilson Doors Inc., Elkhorn, WI.

Maine Lakes Resource Center

Topped with an Englert metal roof, the new Maine Lakes Resource Center in Belgrade Lakes, Maine is the initiative of Docks to Doorways -- a coalition of Colby College and conservation-minded groups, including the Belgrade Lakes Association and the Belgrade Regional Conservation Alliance. The facility is considered Maine’s center for lake water quality conservation and advocacy. In addition, the building is a focal point for the community—hosting concerts, art exhibits, seminars and the region’s farmers market.

Majestic Nail Spa

A designer, builder and building owner found a product that they like, and they have stuck with it on many collaborative projects. Flex-Ability Concepts’ Flex-C Trac is that product, and it was used to add design detail to the team’s latest creation - Majestic Nail Spa in Dallas, Texas.

Malin Burnham Sailing Center – San Diego Yacht Club

Ronstan Tensile Architecture, an end-to-end specialty contractor of tensile architecture, provided its architectural rod systems to the San Diego Yacht Club’s new Malin Burnham Sailing Center in San Diego, CA. The sleek steel rod systems, which act as cross bracing and web compression struts, brace the center’s timber roof trusses. As a result, they provide both a solid roofing structure as well as a maritime aesthetic to perfectly complement the building’s purpose.

Mammel Hall College Of Business Administration

The Mammel Hall College of Business Administration building is a significant source of pride at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and not just because it’s the first building on campus to earn LEED® Gold Certification. The $34 million facility – featuring a variety of architectural metal products from CENTRIA - serves as a striking gateway to the main campus, while providing state-of-the-art instructional facilities.

In September 2013, Manatee Technical Institute celebrated its 50th anniversary in a new main campus facility. Featuring railing infill panels woven by Banker Wire, the Bradenton, FL, ‘Main Campus’ is a state-of-the-art facility that is home to post-secondary adult, career and technical education programs.

Architects for the new buildings at the Manchester (NH) Municipal Complex were searching for a metal panel that provided an aesthetic that worked with the mostly brick design. They found it in the offerings from Morin, A Kingspan Group Company.

Mandeville High School Addition

Mandeville High School’s 2021 addition is taller, colorful and brings more space and light to the existing building, located in Mandeville, LA. When architects learned math and science would be the primary subjects taught in the new three-story addition, they created a learning opportunity using BENCHMARK Designwall 2000 insulated metal panels, a product of Kingspan Insulated Panels - North America, located in DeLand, FL.

Manitoulin Transport Reroof

Manitoulin Transport operates a busy trucking terminal in Montreal, Quebec, located in a high volume industrial area near the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. The original metal roof, which was approximately 50 years old, was replaced with Garland’s R-Mer® Span standing seam panels. The reroof process was completed in 2019.

Manitowish Waters Boathouse

When quality design, quality materials and quality fabrication are combined, the results are bound to be impressive. And in northern Wisconsin, in the woods near Manitowish Waters, the proof can be seen in a newly constructed, rustically-styled boathouse. The zinc roofing and trim featured on it was fabricated by Sheet Metal Supply of Mundelein, IL.

Mansfield Bus Station

Over 1,800 sq. meters of Kalzip aluminum standing seam panels and a similar quantity of Kalzip liner and decking sheets have been installed on Mansfield, UK’s impressive new bus station and link-bridge. The Kalzip roofing sheets together with Kalzip planking for the soffits and an array of bespoke Kalzip aluminum fabrications were all installed by Teamkal contractor, Met-Clad Contracts Ltd.

Maple Grove Public Works Facility

Because of its proximity to a residential area, the architectural design of the new Maple Grove (MN) Public Works Facility includes a façade that complements the surrounding neighborhood. Key to the building's pleasing exterior are 12,000 sq. ft. of DRI-DESIGN rainscreen metal wall panels. They were formed from .080"-thick aluminum with a black anodized finish.
