The Lebanon Municipal Service Facility in Lebanon, OH consists of three custom-engineered metal buildings by Star Building Systems that total 33,000 sq. ft. The project was started in August 2014 and completed in April 2015.

The uniqueness of a free-standing emergency room is rivaled only by the uniqueness of the design concept of the new Legacy ER in Allen, TX. Described by some as a “metal origami," the facility functions both as a state-licensed emergency facility as well as an urgent care clinic. The emergency room–open 24 hours a day, seven days a week–features on its exterior an architectural robe of zinc panels from RHEINZINK America Inc., Woburn, MA.

Just as farm operations have become more sophisticated through the years, so too have the shop buildings that keep expensive machinery and equipment in tip-top condition. A prime example can be found in rural St. James, Minnesota where the new shop of LeRoy and Dave Leinenweber is a model of efficiency, both operationally and in terms of energy consumption. The metal-skinned shop is large—80’ wide x 120’ long x 38’ at the peak—and features hydraulic doors from Schweiss Doors of Fairfax, MN.

Curtis Lemieux is a successful business owner and an accomplished pilot. He flies for both business and pleasure, keeping his plane in his newly renovated mancave/hangar at the Prince Albert Airport in Saskatchewan. Green Bay general contractor Best Built, Inc., an authorized Ceco Building Systems Builder, was recognized with a “2008 Projects of Distinction Silver, Metal Building, Up to $1 million Category” award by the Wisconsin Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Best Built received its award for its work on a new facility for Leo Van De Yacht Well Drilling. The new building is a Ceco Building Systems custom-designed steel frame with exterior CMU and exterior metal wall panels and consists of 14,575 square feet of office, pump shop, wash bay, maintenance area and storage.

Les Schwab Tire Centers, known throughout the Northwest for the popular, homespun marketing tactics of its founder, Les Schwab, has moved its corporate headquarters from the original cinderblock building in Prineville, Oregon to a sparkling new structure in Bend. Utilized for the design of the new building was nearly 30,000 sq. ft. of Citadel Envelope 2000® Rain Screen (RS) metal composite material panels in three colors: Gun Metal, Terra Cotta and Champagne Metallic.

With wood framing deemed impractical due to prohibitive spanning requirements, the metal building approach came to the fore as being the best solution for a 12,800 sq. ft. indoor horse riding arena in Carp, Ontario, Canada. Baird Construction Management Ltd. of Carp, an Authorized Robertson Builder, designed and built the structure using products and systems by Robertson Building Systems. Construction began on the building in June 2006 and was completed two months later.

By specifying a variety of exposed fastener profiles from McElroy Metal on the Lewiston (Pa.) Community Health Center medical office building project, the design team was able to achieve the desired aesthetic and still construct a facility for the non-profit real estate development company with durability and budget constraints in mind.

Lewisville School District’s oldest - but newly renovated - school now features Banker Wire stainless steel wire mesh. The company provided sleek and durable infill panels for Lewisville High School’s stairways and hallway balconies.

At first glance, one might not see anything unusual about the red barn that has appeared on the landscape in Blaine, Minn. But take a closer look and you’ll see that the attractive structure is actually the cornerstone building of the new Lexington Athletic Complex. Designed by JRA Architects and MSR Design, the newly constructed, 40,000-square-foot facility serves 170,000 people in eastern Jefferson County as more than an information center.

The Liberty University athletic staff and student-athletes had a great deal to celebrate at the ribbon-cutting ceremony of their spacious new Indoor Football Practice Facility in August 2017. The $29 million, 95,000-square-foot structure, featuring insulated metal panels (IMPs) from Metl-Span, represents a substantial recruitment tool and a commitment to the success of the Lynchburg, Va.-based university football program.

Life Church is an evangelical church with 15 locations throughout five states. An integral part of the interior design of each location is the “wave wall” which adds color and vibrancy to the community areas. Approximately 470 linear feet of Flex-C Arch by Flex-Ability Concepts was used for the latest installation at the Life Church in Oklahoma City, OK.

Life Flight Network provides life-saving transport to seriously ill or injured patients from the scene of an emergency or from one hospital to another. The medical service operates across the Northwest and Intermountain West, including from a hangar at the Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport in Lewiston, Idaho. Helping get the life-saving craft in and out dependably is a 70'-wide bifold hangar door from Schweiss Doors.

The self-storage sector across the nation has been growing for years. More than 20% of Americans currently use self-storage, and another 15% say they intend to do so in the future. With this growth comes new facilities, many like Life Storage in Orlando, FL. Its vibrant, upscale image was achieved with the help of insulated metal wall panels from Kingspan Insulated Panels - North America.

The American Hockey League's Henderson Silver Knights team has a new practice facility in downtown Henderson, Nevada to go with a new home game facility. Called Lifeguard Arena, the structure features a dynamic façade design that makes good use of the bold imagery that metal panels from Petersen's PAC-CLAD line can bring to building exteriors.

With the mountains as its backdrop, Lightbox Dance Studio in Kaysville, UT, was designed to harmonize with the rustic setting. The 17,150 sq. ft. facility was constructed with metal systems from Varco Pruden Buildings.
