Minnesota BioBusiness Center

Long and narrow vertical mesh panels from Cambridge Architectural add a sophisticated, clean design and a durable exterior cladding to the newly-expanded municipal parking garage at the Minnesota BioBusiness Center in downtown Rochester, MN. A Cambridge Parkade™ architectural mesh system veils the east and west facing facades of the garage, sleekly dressing up the concrete structure.

Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Central Roofing Company’s roots have been in Minneapolis for more than 90 years. Recently those roots spread to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. That’s where the company helped build the new McQuinn Horticulture and Operations Headquarters. They also rebuilt the metal roofs on the historic Red Barn and silo within the arboretum. For both projects, the company installed metal roofing systems and products from Firestone Building Products.

Minnesota Vikings Training Facility

The Minnesota Vikings have one of the newest and most advanced training centers in the National Football League. Officially known as the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center, the team's impressive facility boasts a laundry list of extras, including a pair of Schweiss glass bifold doors that open to connect workout areas inside with the surrounding practice fields outside.

Minnetonka Public Schools' Entryways

Minnetonka High School, the flagship of Minnetonka Public School District #276 in Minnesota, was the first of six schools to undergo facelifts in Spring 2009. Changes to the high school included a secure entry and new office space within a two-story, beacon-like rotunda. Alucobond® Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) by 3A Composites USA (formerly Alcan Composites USA) was selected as cladding for exterior canopies, soffits and fasciae, as well as for both exterior and interior column elements.

Mino-Bimaadiziwin Apartments

With a name that translates roughly from the Chippewa Ojibwe language as “live the good life,” the Mino-Bimaadiziwin apartment building in Minneapolis is helping 110 American Indian families, primarily from the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians, do just that. The project was developed to address the housing shortage among the city’s American Indian citizens and provide added social support. Its façade features metal wall panels from Petersen.

Mirage Appliances Corporation Hangar

In Mexico, you don't need a sign to figure out which of the corporate hangars at the Ciudad Obregón International Airport belongs to Mirage Appliances Company. Simply put, it is the modern-looking one with the shiny metal skin and the hangar door to match. The appearance of the door and its size speak to the design versatility associated with the bifold and hydraulic doors offered by Schweiss Doors of Fairfax, MN.

Mission College Gillmor Center

The Gillmor Center - a 100,000 square foot, three-story interdisciplinary classroom facility - represents the first phase of the existing Main Building replacement at the Mission College campus in Santa Clara, CA. It features insulated metal panels and metal sunshades from CENTRIA.

Mission College Student Engagement Center

The 65,000-square-foot Mission College Student Engagement Center, phase two of the Main Building replacement project, serves as the Santa Clara, CA institution’s new front door. CENTRIA’s Formawall® and EcoScreen® transform the building into an energy-efficient gateway to the college itself.

Mission Health North Tower

CENTRIA®, manufacturer of metal wall and roof panels, played a substantial role in the design of the Mission Health North Tower in Asheville, NC. A $400-million, 12-story facility, the hospital includes 220 patient rooms, a 94-bed emergency room, interventional and cardiac catheterization suites and digital operating rooms.

Mission Hospital Patient Care Tower

The new $153-million 94,000-square-foot Patient Care Tower at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, Calif., opened in November 2009 featuring state-of-the-art technology in advanced imaging and diagnostic services as well as patient- and family-centered care. General contractor McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., of Newport Beach, Calif., created a seismically sound tower exterior, which is clad with Alucobond® aluminum composite material (ACM) by 3A Composites USA (formerly Alcan Composites USA).

Mississippi Aquarium

In August 2020, the new Mississippi Aquarium opened in downtown Gulfport. The aquarium figures not only into local revitalization plans, but also in tourism aspirations for the entire Gulf Coast. The museum's three main buildings were designed with beauty, sustainability and resiliency in mind, and are clad with 16,000 zinc tiles fabricated from RHEINZINK prePATINA® blue-grey material. With a potential lifespan of 100 years or more, the natural metal supports both the Aquarium's economical and environmental goals.

Mississippi Center For Emergency Services

The Mississippi Center for Emergency Services on the campus of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson grew out of lessons learned from 2005's Hurricane Katrina. A new headquarters brings together multiple functions in a building that uses metal wall and roof panels from Petersen in multiple profiles to create visual interest in a budget-friendly design.

Missouri Gas Energy

The new St. Joseph service center for Missouri Gas Energy was designed to optimize energy efficiency, resulting in the project’s submission for LEED Gold certification. The 11,420 sq. ft. building utilized Rigid Frame and Unibeam Lean-To framing from Varco Pruden Buildings, along with modified fascia framing on the south eave to support solar-collecting panels.

Mitchell Elementary

The renovation of Mitchell Elementary in Dallas resulted in 42 classrooms, a gymnasium, cafeteria, kitchen and library. Metal roofing from MBCI is featured on the elementary school, which is a part of the Plano Independent School District and serves nearly 700 students.

For a four-building renovation project, 11,800 sq. ft. of new metal wall panels may not seem like a lot. But without question, the visual impact of the inclusion of Laminators' Omega-Lite panels on the exterior of the Moda Sorrento complex in San Diego, CA was significant.

Modesto Commerce Bank

Located at the edge of an expanding community, the new Modesto Commerce Bank, a branch of the Bank of Stockton, is a modern facility for a banking institution that is rooted in the history and landscape of California’s Central Valley. Playing a prominent role in the bank’s design are standing seam metal roofing — incorporating photovoltaics — and walls panels from Metal Sales Manufacturing Corp., as well as exposed structural steel tubing by Amerifab.

Mohawk College Centrum Classroom Structure

In an effort to meet stricter codes regarding insulation, without sacrificing aesthetics, a new classroom structure at Mohawk College in Ontario was constructed using insulated metal panels (IMPs) from Metl-Span.

Monroe Pointe Condominiums

The new Monroe Pointe condominiums in Denver’s upscale Cherry Creek area utilize 14,000 sq. ft. of .050"-thick aluminum Dri-Design panels finished in Silver Metallic. Dri-Design is an affordable dry joint, pressure-equalized rainscreen system. The six-story, 69-unit luxury development offers great views of the mountains as well as the downtown Denver skyline. Condo units range in size from 895 sq. ft. to 5,380 sq. ft. for a penthouse. The designer of the $64 million project was Davis Partnership Architects, Denver.

Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport

A first-of-its-kind architectural mesh movable gate system delivers security, operational flexibility and a clean aesthetic inside the U.S. Customs area at Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Dorval, Quebec, Canada. The new security gate is part of the airport's transborder terminal renovation project, which has expanded, modernized and made the terminal more user-friendly. The innovative security partitions provided by Cambridge Architectural quickly became one of the more impressive components of the overall renovation project.
