Moody Center For The Arts

Two custom-designed interior curtains of metal mesh fabric woven by Cambridge Architectural border the Central Gallery at the Moody Center for the Arts at Rice University. The new home for creativity on Rice’s Houston campus opened in February 2017 and is dedicated to interdisciplinary collaboration through the arts.

Morgan’s Wonderland Camp

Morgan’s Wonderland Camp serves as a 102-acre recreational getaway for anyone with or without special needs, located in northern San Antonio, Texas. MBCI metal roof and wall panels were used in the construction of three of the ultra-accessible facility's main buildings.

Mormon Temple - Tucson

The RHEINZINK-clad dome atop the new Mormon Temple in Tucson marks a unique feature in the design of the religion’s temples throughout the United States. “Domes are rare on temples,” said Mandy Martineau, church member and project manager with FFKR Architects, Salt Lake City. “The dome has really captured the attention of the city and church members alike.”

Morristown And Morris Township Library’s New Edition

Originally built in 1917, the Morristown and Morris Township (NJ) Library has been expanded several times. This most recent expansion, known as the “New Edition”, was an $8 million project that includes construction of a three-level, 15,000 sq. ft. addition and extensive restructuring of other parts of the library. The project, a 2007 AIA Merit Award winner, was designed by Holt•Morgan•Russell Architects, Princeton, NJ. Approximately 4,200 sq. ft. of RHEINZINK® standing seam panels and custom diamond shaped tiles contributed to HMR’s design solution.

Mosaic Village

Johnson C. Smith University (JCSU) of Charlotte, NC, needed a new dormitory to increase its student housing, and the historic West End district of Charlotte was in need of revitalization. With Mosaic Village–which features insulated metal wall panels from Kingspan Insulated Metal Panels Inc., and single-element metal wall panels from Morin-A Kingspan Group Company on its exterior–both goals were met.

Moser School

The new Moser School for fourth and fifth grade students is a 79,000 square foot building which opened in September of 2019 in Rocky Hill, CT. ATAS International’s Linear Ceiling panel in a custom wood grain pattern, featuring a high-performance 70% PVDF paint finish, was used for the project.

Mosinee Brewing Company

Just like the original owner of the building one hundred years earlier, the owner of the Mosinee Brewing Company had a vision for what her building could be – a craft brewery, taproom, outdoor beer garden and event space – and how it could help revive her local community. With the help of products from Star Building Systems, that vision has come to life.

Mossman-Nguyen Residence

Metal Building Company (MBC), an authorized American Buildings Company (ABC) Builder, built a residence for the Mossman-Nguyen family, diverging from their conventional metal building structures. In five months, MBC and the general contractor, KS Design Build, combined the traditional pre-engineered design with custom residential features.

Mother Arnetta Crawford Housing Project

The Mother Arnetta Crawford Housing project in Bronx, NY, would have an entirely different look if it followed the original plans for a brick and block structure. Research brought the construction team to a new material and appearance via Dri-Design wall panels.

Motor City Casino

The glory days of the U.S. auto industry — from tailfins to muscle cars — provided the design inspiration for Detroit, Michigan's new $300 million Motor City Casino. Among the products used to create the desired image was Reynobond® ACM from Alcoa Architectural Products. The project features more than 125,000 sq. ft. of the ACM panels.

Motorwerks BMW & Mini

Located in Bloomington, MN, the new home of Motorwerks BMW & Mini is a two-story, state-of-the-art showroom and service center with an attached four-story enclosed lot. It was designed by Phillips Architects & Contractors of Minneapolis to reflect the sophistication of the automobiles on display. To that end, the 200,000 sq. ft. building is clad predominantly with Alcoa Architectural Products' Reynobond aluminum composite metal wall panels. The material use was carried over to the interior spaces as well.

Mount Helena Community Church's Gateway Center

Walk inside the Gateway Center of Mount Helena Community Church in Helena, MT, and you would never imagine the combination community event center and church sanctuary is a converted warehouse. A major challenge was to install heating and cooling systems in a building that had minimal insulation and do so in a way that gave the building a bright, finished look. The project architect found the answer in the HIGH-R Insulation System.

Mount Pleasant Glass Centre

When the time came to address the aging aluminized steel roof on the Mount Pleasant Glass Centre in Mount Pleasant, PA, many options were considered. The one that made the most sense was to cover the old metal roof with a new one from Norcross, GA-based IMETCO.

Mount Union College Peterson Field House

Mount Union College’s Peterson Field House is now generating its own electricity, thanks to Sheffield Metals International (SMI). The Sheffield, Ohio-based company recently facilitated the installation of a 66,000 square foot photovoltaic roof system that ranks as the largest single-solar-array, thin-film laminate system in the state of Ohio.

Mountain Aviation Hangar – Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport

The Mountain Aviation Hangar at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport in Broomfield, Colorado, features metal building systems by Varco Pruden Buildings, a division of BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. Using Rigid Frame systems from Varco Pruden, the airplane hangar measures 19,250 sq. ft. The hangar is covered by Varco Pruden’s SSR roofing, a clip-mounted standing seam system. The walls are Varco Pruden’s Panel Rib profile.

Mountain View Corporate Center

To attract and retain high-tech tenants at the Mountain View Corporate Center, the development's new owners updated three concrete buildings to include attractive modern metal facades. The 23,000 sq. ft. of Copper Anodize aluminum wall panels utilized on the project were fabricated at the Fontana, CA plant of Morin Corporation, anodized by Wausau, WI-based Linetec and then shipped directly to the job site for installation by Sheet Metal Systems (SMS) of Hollister, CA.

Moving Everest Charter School

The new Moving Everest Charter School, located in the Austin neighborhood on the Far West Side of Chicago, utilizes a unique model that accommodates both the new charter school as well as a provider of after-school programs. The new building’s vivid architecture signifies progress and innovation in the underserved neighborhood. More than 16,000 sq. ft. of PAC-CLAD 7/8-in. Corrugated panels by Petersen, finished in Charcoal, dramatically clad the exterior of the 53,000-sq.-ft. structure.

Mowbray Volunteer Fire Station

A new station for the Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department in Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., opens up the department to the surrounding community, both visually and literally, thanks to its substantial meeting space. It also features a classic design with metal roof panels and wall highlights from Petersen that will help ease maintenance for decades to come.

MSU Bio Engineering Facility

Michigan State University (MSU) opens the doors to its new Bio Engineering Facility and to new, collaborative research opportunities contributing toward technology transfer to the private sector and the state’s emerging bio-based economy. The four-story, 130,000-square-foot research laboratory building is located in the South Academic District in East Lansing.

Mueller Residential Hangar

Andrew and Carri Ann Mueller of Palmer, Alaska, live in a pilot’s dream home. In addition to having a spectacular view of nearby Pioneer Peak, the residence has a hangar out behind it, with direct runway access. When it’s time to get the planes out or put them away, the couple can count on their Schweiss Doors bifold liftstrap door to make it easy.
