The National World War II Museum tells the story of the American experience in the war that changed the world – why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today. Dedicated in 2000, the museum recently underwent an extensive, $300 million expansion, which included the construction of a $60 million addition. The addition’s design makes extensive use of metal, including aluminum dovetail grilles from Ohio Gratings Inc. (OGi) of Canton, Ohio. Approximately 9,000 sq. ft. of the company’s grilles were used in various parts of the museum interior, including in the theater lobby.
